Cannot change video files in Game Manager for a couple tables

I have some table videos that were flipped the wrong direction that I downloaded.  I have fixed those video files but when Pinball X is on those tables it still shows the flipped version.  I have went as far and removing the table from the DB, checking Game List manager and moving the files out of the media folder they were in.  But when I add the table back via the xml editor and launch PinballX the wheel and incorrect table video shows in the menu without me even changing anything in Game List Manager.

These are Pinball FX3 tables that is why I add via the xml editor.

Is there a second temp location that stores these files that I am not aware of?  :)

I hope this made sense.

My (biased) recommendation would be to try PinballX Database Manager instead of Game Manager to manage your game lists, it can help quite a bit with media management.

Anyways, that's entirely your choice,  back to the issue...  as far as i'm aware PinballX only caches wheel images (somewhere in your users AppData folder i forget the exact location) so not sure why your videos are still showing. Could be a few things, maybe you have media in Table Images as well as Table Videos folder, or you had multiple videos using different formats (so deleted a mp4 table video but left behind a flv video etc), or you have file matching enabled in settings and a similar named file is being picked up by PinballX?

If it's none of those then please attach copies of your Log.txt, PinballX.ini and maybe your FX3 database xml with a screenshot of Table Videos folder contents too.

Or (if it is possible), attach the complete media as zip.

Btw, didn't @scuttersmentioned that Databasemanager fully supports fx3 tables and even identify new tables (if you bought them from Steam)

I did not know DB manager was a thing.  DLed and figured out with the duplicate video was.  I cleared those out!  Now to find some good table BG videos for some PBFX tables.  :)

I looked around and I see where I can create my videos(which i do for VPX tables) but I do not see anything to Download.  What am i missing?

Didn't rread the manual? :P

Setup in settings the ftp part or mega links.

Right click on the media part ( in your case the backglass) and select gameex. A list with videos and images are showed.

If name is mating the "fuzzy search", it will only show those, but with a checkbox you can show all.

Hope it makes sense

Ha, instructions...hilarious!  :)  I actually looked to the top for options or something ubt found nothing.  Then I saw your message and you said check "Settings" I looks all over that window and found nothing.  Checked instructions in root folder...and finally found the icon staring right in front of me  :)  Thanks- Mike!

Using the GameEx online stuff because I do not know any mega sites with this info  :)  Butt GameEx videos for Pinball FX are fly through of the table and I just want the in game table video or image.

I spend so many hours to create a manual, and nobody is reading it ....:P

I thought you wanted bg videos and not pf.

If I recall correctly, @BrandonLaw has some in game videos created on ftp in his folder.

Maybe look at that and if you have them, you can use Databasemanager to upload media as well, so fellow users are able to download again.

I need BG and PFs and it looks like a good chunk of the tables I needed at least had a image for BG, so all square there but not for play field.  Normally i creat my own for the VPX tables with a tool someone made but cannot use that for the PBFX tables.   I'll see what i can do.

thanks again for all your help.

I created the bg and pf videos with the build in recorder from pinballx (can also be used in Databasemanager), but I use nvidia capture as well
