I seem to have encountered a small error in the PBX menu.

Right now, I use a combo of B2S and MP4 videos for my backglass monitor in the PBX menu. The MP4's are there in case I can't find a suitable B2S file for a table.

Anyhow, when navigating the PBX menu and scrolling through games, I eventually happen upon a backglass with an 16:9 ratio MP4 video source. If I move to the next game, the B2S for the next game appears (in 4:3) -- but the 16:9 video backglass for the prior game remains under it. I have to move to another B2S (4:3) to clear it out every single time.

Is this a bug or feature or...?

Yeah, that's how I would expect it to work right now. Its so the next backglass video can render without any black frames/skip.

I never use B2S in the front end myself.

I've not used it, but i seem to remember reading you can have a frame around the 4:3 b2s as part of the b2s settings to fill the screen - this would cover the 16:9 video of the previous table running underneath for you (if my memory is correct!)

But video or images for all tables are probably a better option for you in the front end as Tom says.

Edit -  best example i could find quickly of the 4:3 b2s 'frame' being mentioned - https://www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=37663

When I did the test using the B2S in the menu, the time it takes to show them is much longer than it takes to show the videos or images, so it is not a good option even if you save some disk space.
Short videos of 15 seconds are not very heavy.
Images is another good option and just by putting them as .jpg instead of .png, the weight goes down considerably, but I prefer videos.
Currently I use a 500Gb SSD that fits FX2, FX3, TPA, Wicked, Pro-Pinball, Malzbies, Pinball HD Collection, Zaccaria, Future Pinball with more than 130 tables and Visual Pinball with more than 850 tables. add the PinballX media, where all the table videos are in 4K and more than 100 PupPacks and there are still more than 100Gb left.
A 500Gb SSD fits a lot, as long as you have it optimized, if you put 1 minute videos and complete audios (2,3 5 Min), you run out of space only with the media and the Puppacks.
Even so, I will surely go to a 1Tb SSD because PupPacks are constantly coming out and some of them weigh up to 3Gb.
You can always clone your SSD to a larger SSD and lose absolutely nothing.
