Andrewminor Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 Hello friends. Recently, I bought a gaming pc; because I love to play games on pc. Every time I start a game on pc, 90% of my computer's CPU is being used. But GPU is being used only 10-15%. Guys, I don't understand why this is happening, and how to fix this problem. Can anyone help me with this? Any help will be appreciated. The configuration of my computer is mentioned below: 10th gen intel core i5-10400 processor 16GB, 2x8GB, ddr4, 2666mhz Gtx 1050ti
Draco1962 Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 Google "Windows 10 disable Bluetooth auto connect" Videos and links to instructions in abundance.
ClassicGMR Posted April 7, 2021 Posted April 7, 2021 Wow if anything the GPU should be the bottleneck in that system. However I have a couple of questions: 1) Define "gaming". Emulation is CPU intensive for most emulators that are not named PCSX2 but Call of Duty, for example, is GPU intensive. 2) Do you have an active onboard GPU as well (ie - Intel UHD 630)? If so are your PC programs pointed to that GPU vs the 1050ti? Check your nVidia console and see where the programs are being forced to run. 2a) Tech support question here so no offense intended - is your HDMI/DP cable connected to the 1050ti or the onboard connection? 3) What's running in the background? When was your last spyware check? Is it a store bought system running tons of bloatware (like the HP Support Assistant for example)? MSI Afterburner is a great on-screen resource I use quite a bit. Here's a recent 1050ti benchmark with a similar CPU. You should be seeing about the same FPS and usage:

Andrewminor Posted April 7, 2021 Author Posted April 7, 2021 Thank you all for replying. I don't know what you are saying. However, I have already solved my computer problem yesterday. After a lot of searching on Google, I realized from here that the problem was with my graphics card’s driver. The problem was solved only after I uninstalled the graphics drivers and downloaded and installed the updated driver from the manufacturer's website. Now my graphics are using 45-50% and CPU 55-60%. 1
