Discord Channel?

Is there a GameEx discord channel?  I saw Tom was discussing ideas to amplify GameEx and bring back in old members and new members.  I thought a discord channel might be a good option.  Just wondering if there is one already, and I missed it?

If there is I don't know about it.  A couple groups I having PC gaming ties to have come back together just recently and started one, and I'm on madlittlepixel's channel too, but these seem like ghost towns most of the time.  Reminds me of sitting on IRC, well sort of....

The thing I think I think would help most is if people frequenting other retro gaming sites were talking more about GameEx, then more end up coming here as a result.  People just aren't talking about it elsewhere like they do others, at least from what I can see.  

GameEx is a great frontend that really speaks for itself IMO, I think that maybe people just take it for granted since it's been around so long.  Hard to say really, but there's a good user-base out there, they just don't talk non-stop about it.

I joined a few FB pincab groups and my experience is that there's too much FE troubleshooting taking place there instead of in the forums.

If not troubleshooting, then there's "What's the best FE?" conversations that quickly devolve from civil discussions to acrimony. 

Having a FB or other platform presence may not be a bad idea, but the forums should be the focus of troubleshooting issues.
