Draco1962
Another viable option. RAM is not upgradeable as it is a modified Pi 4 at heart, but if running for MAME and lower end emulation it should be just fine. The price point is really good and I could see this working well for many projects. Having not used a Pi I wonder how well it works with an external SSD for storing game files and media for RetroPie? tthurman
Considering the price points it's hard to make an argument for anything less than the 4GB model with the Pi 4 and this one's only available with 4, I think. My Pi 3B+ is a Pi-Hole, so no experience with a SSD.
Draco1962
Per the stats, the RAM is set at 4GB. If I were to go with this kit, the most I would use it for besides arcade emulation is Atari 8-bit and ST emulation. 4GB would be more than enough.
