barto107 Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 Hello, I've got a msgbox error PinupDisplay.exe when i exit the table (GOTG). This msgbox only displays when i exit this table with pinballX When i quit the table with visual pinball, i don't have this msgbox error. Do you know where it comes from ? Regards
Draco1962 Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 Since it is coming up from Pinup Player have you checked on the Pinup forums? Can you attach copies of your pinballx.ini and your log.txt files from right when the error occurs?

Here my PinballX file but i don't know what logfile you need ? i give you PUP LOG file but i can't see any error on it ? I didn't ask pinup team because when i'm playing this table with only pinup player and visual pinball i've never got any error message. Regards PinballX.ini PinballX.ini
Mike_da_Spike Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 The logfile is in pinballx\log directory and called log.txt. Grab this after the issue occurs
barto107 Posted August 15, 2020 Author Posted August 15, 2020 ok thanks mike_da_Spike , here my log.txt log.txt
Mike_da_Spike Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 Don't see any strange things in the log. Only question I had: Why are you running pinballx as 32 bit, if your os is 64 bit?

No worries. I asked since the error is originating from PinUp and they may be able to provide insight as to where the conflict is occurring with PinbllX to generate the error you posted.
barto107 Posted August 15, 2020 Author Posted August 15, 2020 Hello Mike, That is a good question I really don't know, maybe because i've been always using 32 bit version and it worked well so far.

Maybe give it a try to use 64 bit. Just install and select the 64 bit. You can always go back to 32 bit. In older version the 64 bit didnt work well, but Tom did a good job (last year?) and get all working (Only @scutters system pbx crashes with a .net error, but must be something on his crappy system)
scutters Posted August 19, 2020 Posted August 19, 2020 @barto107 Don't know if it's an alias you use but deathinc had the same issue, see https://vpinball.com/forums/topic/guardians-of-the-galaxy-2/page/14/#post-196708
barto107 Posted August 19, 2020 Author Posted August 19, 2020 Hello Scutters, thank you No it's not my alias but i'll check this post right now. I'm going to try what did "deathincclan" that is to say delete and re-Copied all GOTG Pup files I'll tell you if it work or not.
barto107 Posted August 20, 2020 Author Posted August 20, 2020 Problem solved, in fact i've deleted the pup files and re-copied and it works fine ! Sometimes, easy things are the best 1
