[RESOLVED] Return to main menu

how do i exit pinballfx2 emulator and go back to main menu where i have pinballfx2, mame and visual pinball?
the exit key terminates my table, returns me to the pinballfx2 table list, but then I can't return to the Pinballx home menu

Please attach your pinballx log.txt and config.ini files.

Also, is pinballx running as admin?

I don't have fx2, but only purchased all the fx3 tables. So not sure if it works the same.

In Fx3 the table is part of the mainprogram. If I terminates the table (thats the fx3 exe file) it will not go into fx3, but returns to pbx

If uac is disabled it will not popup for admin, but do you run pinballx as admin ? 

If not, try it one time and check if it is closing the emulator

Btw. Your logfile doesnt show a launch of fx2. Only a plain launch of pbx and closing it after 3 minutes

he's talking about how to go back to system selection menu at least that how i interpret it.

you have to disable quick launch and then press the select button which would normally start a table and choose systems from that list not play table

Maybe a feature request can be made to request this ?

how i interpret is he starts a table, presses exit key and he is back in pinballx fx2 table list but he does not know how to go to the system selection list (home menu). That functionality exists by selecting system from the menu that pops up when you select a table but if quicklaunch is enabled you do not see that menu but not sure what he is actually refering to it's not very well explained.

by disable quicklaunch , i select a table and then i select System to return main menu.

As a feature it would be nice to return to the main menu via a key without going through the menu selection that shows after selecting a table.

I'll do other experiments with Mame too
