[ RESOLVED ] new pbx doesnt load fx 3

Just upgraded to latest PBX version and now FX3 doesn't work, there is an error in the log but im not sure what it means. All tables in visual pinball work ok.

got fx2 to work the parameters were wrong. but cant get fx3 to run.

Can you attach a copy of your pinballx.ini? 

The error looks pretty specific

Need to make sure the path and/or file name is valid

Please paste the command line in the log into windows explorer and see it if starts.

FX2 is working fine for me but have not got fx3 to test right now.

Has anything changted? Please download the previous version of PinballX from here to verify.

my FX3 is working fine with pinballx 3.30

But instead of Executable=Pinball FX3.exe I use Steam.exe with the parameters.

FX3 works for me launching directly (not via steam) with pbx v3.30

My settings;

[PinballFX3]
WorkingPath=C:\Program Files\Pinball FX3
Executable=Pinball FX3.exe
Parameters=-applaunch 442120 "-table_[TABLEFILE]" -offline
Process=Pinball FX3.exe

Not much different there so check path as previously suggested.

I Dont know how or why but for some reason my fx3.exe had renamed itself ??? from pinballFX3.exe to pbfx3.exe...... weather in a drunken state or lack of sleep id unwillingly altered it, who know but a least its working now , thanks to all.

@Mike_da_Spike i dont use steam, never have and it works fine using the EXE. and its all working now :-)
