Draco1962
You are running the GameEx 64-bit version. Does this occur if you are running the 32-bit version?

Draco1962
Only thing that I can think to ask is if the media is all the same format? Difficult to diagnose when it happens intermittently or randomly and not readily reproduced.
Jeremy27041980
Thanks for your help but yes, all my videos are in the same format. I can reproduce this issue each time i 'm lauching Gameex. But it vary beetween 30 seconds to 5 minutes, depends if i scroll the games's list. They play fine in another frontend like launchbox but i have a large preference for Gameex.
Tom Speirs
I can't see anything wrong in that video myself? looks fine to me. Do you have LAV codecs installed?
Jeremy27041980
yes, i have LAV codecs installed. If you watch carrefully, you can see that my videosnaps are playing smooth and after 1.12 minutes they are choppy.

Draco1962
I rewatched the video and I can see ar the 1:12 mark where it appears to stall and I assume that you are trying move back up/down through the menu, but don't see what I would call a stutter or chop. More like a stall. Have you tried clearing all files in the data folder with "cache" as part of the filer extension? It's ok to do this as the cache files will rebuild. Jeremy27041980
Look at the video scrolling of secret agent. It's smooth, but at 1.12 it's choppy.
Tom Speirs
Do they continue to be choppy after that or does it resume to normal? Is the rest of GameEx choppy when this happens or just videos?
Jeremy27041980
It resume to normal but after little time same issue. No problem with the rest of Gameex.
Tom Speirs
Also, perhaps try resetting your NVIDIA settings.
Jeremy27041980
Also try, no success....
Tom Speirs
Also perhaps adjust windows defender (or other virus scanner) to exclude GameEx and your video media folders from scanning.
Jeremy27041980
Same issue with Defender off. I install Gameex in my friend's PC (AMD graphic card) and I notice the same problem. My friend didn't see this until i put a finger on. It's not a big issue but it's annoying for me.
Tom Speirs
Which version of LAV are you running? Do you have any special decoding settings set? Are the videos from emumovies? Please try turning off the reduce CPU usage setting under tweaks/performance. I don't think its a performance issue, probably running too fast and messing something up. Jeremy27041980
The videos are from me but it's the same with emumovies. Mine are smoother (60 fps h264 .mp4)
