jonandbrandi
I go the notification and updated Game Ex (got an error on auto update but downloaded manually) and since have not been able to start Game Ex or Setup Wizard or anything else. I get the error Application Unable to start crrectly (0xc00000e5) I eventually uninstalled and redownloaded and reinstalled but still have the same issue. Game Ex is the only program giving me this error so far. My emulators and all other programs are loading properly. Any ideas or suggestions? Just gotta say GameEx is AMAZING! Everything I have been searching for in a frontend and I have tried quite a few
tthurman
We've got a lot going on here, and you accidentally posted this in the Convert-It subforums. We need to see your GameEx log and ini to give us clues as to why this is occurring. See my sig for links if you need help locating these. Additionally, if you happen to be running Windows10, then it's probably the creator's update, it's good at creating problems.
RedDog
Antivirus could be a cause as well. You might try disabling it as a test or checking permissions.
Tom Speirs
Looks like a .net framework issue. Did you uninstall the .net framework 2/3.5? What os are you using?

I notice the log file doesn't match my machine (forgive me I'm a noob but that just catches my eye not sure if that is relevant) And yes I am running Windows 10 GameEx.ini log.txt

jonandbrandi
So I recently installed Avast then went with Bit defender and thought I uninstalled Avast but apparently didn't. I just uninstalled Avast and rebooted and now Game Ex and Setup Wizard are starting without errors. I'm replacing my Media and Config folders with the old copies I kept and going from there. Thanks for all the help and thanks to the developers for an Amazing Frontend!
