RIP-Felix Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 I'm glad the guy was happy with his purchase, but it's not like it's anything revolutionary. I'm underwhelmed. Cardboard and a USB x-input fighting stick + USB C Adapter. What's so exciting about it? Quote
tthurman Posted August 4, 2017 Author Posted August 4, 2017 Seemingly to me it had more value detailing the features of the fight stick. Some community members; @Krakerman for instance, prefer these type sticks over more conventional methods or controllers. Quote
Draco1962 Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 For the fight games, I can see the value in a dedicated fight pad. Quote
tthurman Posted August 5, 2017 Author Posted August 5, 2017 I believe some of these come fitted with swana's, and so are good for many games, shmups etc,... just a good all around single player solution. Fighting games never really did it for me, but to each his own. I did play Mortal Kombat on the SNES, and while it was pretty cool, the genre never really grabbed me like it apparently has with so many others. As for the cardboard and rubber band contraption, yeah, that's not for me either. I would design something that would take at least five years to become a reality I found the presentation silly, but entertaining at the same time. The guy doesn't take himself serious at all, which I personally found to be a nice change from the daily bs I deal with. Quote
