Cannot get gameEx working with roms

Can anyone help me out i cant seem to get Gameex to see my roms i tried everything i goto upate lists in gameex  to update list does nothing am i missing something i tried everything  someone list me a step by step guide i will even do a fresh install

 

wish i can download that mame pack 180 that would proly help me out but i am a basic member

There are many things that can impact this. We will need for you to locate and attach your gameex.ini and log.txt files in reply to this thread. Click on the GameEx How to ask for help link in my signature for instructions on where to locate these files.

Additionally, you can run the verify step at the end of the setup wizard and see what it's reporting.  As Draco pointed out though, we can't do much in the way of helping without support files.
