Games not showing up in GameEx after upgrading to mame 0.182

I just upgraded mame to 0.182. GameEx did scan of the rom folder and took about 10 or so minutes to scan. Now all I get is two games showing up with the incorrect videos. I'm stuck here. I was able to open several of the roms that don't show up in GameEx by invoking mame on the command line.

Any help in getting the roms to show up in GameEx would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the GameEx forums orsty3001.

Go back through the configuration wizard, and at the very least confirm "Verify Roms" is set to no.

If that isn't it, go to the very end and run the check to ensure the paths are all set correctly.

I just confirmed that it's pointed to the roms folder and "verify roms" is already set to yes.

browse to MAME

Update

 It it about 10 or so minutes to update. It said it was building listinfo.dat but still just the same two games pop up.

@orsty3001 You said that you upgraded your mame to 0.182. Are you familiar with the proper and improper way to upgrade mame? For instance, you cannot update existing roms to a new version without processing them through something like CLRMamePro. Please let us know how you did the upgrade as an improper upgrade could lead to the issue you are commenting on.

I'm going to test the MAME 0.182 is a sec. It could be something changed. Its far from uncommon a new version of MAME busted the list update.
