Time is running out to grab this for the 20% launch price discount, which ends Sunday.

A little boring background:

I followed the old Battlezone 1 forums for quite some time, as Ken Miller; one of the original programmers, as well as many from the community over there kept this gem running on current hardware.  It was there I read that Rebellion had acquired the rights to the game from Atari recently, and brought Ken on-board to give BZ1 an overhaul.  Excited to get my hands on it I signed up for their mailing list, and last week forwarded it off to one of my friends who routinely handed me my arse in this game back in the day.  He called yesterday and exclaimed it ran perfectly, no longer was stuck in 640 x 480 (looked damn good for such a low res), and that the graphics engine had be polished, and brought up to date.  He indicated the core game play was untouched, and the online component was flawless!

Just fired it up, looks like they left the intro video just as it was, just put it in a control panel of sorts.  The intro gives a good representation of what the game looks like, pretty amazing for 1998 if you as me!
