Aliens Vs. Pinball is here! Great tables! Now if our resident media gurus can generate some great table & DMD videos and table sounds all will be right with the world! Namsan has us covered on the backglass videos and those using my Mega Docklets are covered.

OK....here you go. I have the 3 Aliens vs Pinball  playfield video files and Table Audio on the FTP under:

/-PinballX-/Other Uploads/TerryRed/Pinball FX2

No DMD videos as I can't really use my cabinet now because of my messed up back (I recorded on my desktop PC)....also my DMD videos would be "different" than everyone else's.

I'm trying to download the playfield videos but I assume I can't because I'm not a subscribing member? Is there any other way I can get the playfield videos for the 3 Aliens games?

Membership has some great benefits and the cost is less than what you might spend for lunch for two at the lower end and a moderate dinner for two at the top. 

Trust me when I say the author gives away far more than he gains from subscriptions.

Maybe, but I'm doing this for work and I'm not authorized to spend money. It is only 3 pieces of art too, we have everything else. I could download videos from YouTube that people have posted, but I figured I'd ask just in case you could help. If there were tons of media packages I'd try to convince my boss to spend money on it, but 3 videos are nothing.

I don't think that the time and hard work the user's put into their videos and other media are nothing. 

Maybe I should go to your work and walk away with whatever pincab project he has you building? It is nothing, since it is built using the videos and media that are nothing in your eyes. You wouldn't be upset, right?

We encourage users to put their media on the FTP to encourage membership for access, to help defray some of the operational costs and keep PinballX free to the community.

I agree that people's work should be rewarded. But membership for just three videos seems a bit excessive. If I was going for all the Pinball FX2 videos I would definitely agree, but that isn't the case. But to each their own.

There are, of course, ways to get access without paying a dime. Usually it involves being promoted  to a Contributor for media, apps & plugins, and other contributions that further the community. Elite users also have the similar benefit and represent the "best of the best" of our community.

As an artist and designer, I am sure that you have the talent to contribute, but I am not sure if you have the time.

The same time contributing here to get access to the 3 videos I could just capture video myself. Again, if this was a lot of files we were talking about I'd be on board. But 3 files out of 100? Not worth the effort. But thanks anyway.
