Thanks a lot guys!  I think we're going to order Chinese food and have a family movie night.  The Peanuts movie for the kids, and later I'm going to "birthday-guilt" my wife into watching Fury Road with me.  Should be fun!

I actually have not seen Deadpool yet!  At this point it looks like I'll be waiting for the home release.  For that matter I didn't end up watching Fury Road either.  Instead we binge watched some Jessica Jones which is probably the best crime noir story (masquerading as a superhero story) I've seen in a long time.  Highly recommended!  ... On the other hand, now it's going to be hard to look at the Tenth Doctor (who is one of my favorites!) and not see him as a bit of a psychopath.  So there is that.

I'm not familiar with Jessica Jones, but after a search I'm guessing its the netflix exclusive you're talking about.  Looks really good, thanks for the heads up!

You bet!  Yeah I've really enjoyed it so far, but I'm a big fan of David Tennant so I was pretty confident going in.  I had also never heard of Jessica Jones, but in some ways I might have enjoyed the show more because of it.  I was just enjoying the story and characters, rather than trying to tune in to all the references.  It bears mentioning that it's definitely not one for younger viewers, and is probably one of the more "sexed up" MCU stories I've seen, but really that's in keeping with the Marvel Knights stories which were always more adult oriented to begin with.  Netflix is really developing a great stylistic take on the MCU, primarily focused on the Marvel Knights characters.  I haven't watched Season 2 of Daredevil yet either, but I'm really looking forward to seeing Jon Bernthal's portrayal of Punisher.

*Feels a bit self indulgent bumping my own birthday thread, but I wanted to reiterate my recommendation of Jessica Jones.  Good stuff!
