I have 1 table for some reason won't work in Pinball X, and it's bugging the h*** out of me. Rocket III from vpf. I know this isn't a backglass forum, but what's weird is it works in the vp editor perfectly. Run it through Pinball X, and no backglass, but the table plays as if there is a backglass. I tried to click on the backglass, but if I click on the backglass (left or right) the table image disappears as if the table/program crashed- blank screen. Hit Escape and the menu appears as if all is well. I don't see anything in the log, but maybe there's something I'm missing.

The table and backglass fires right up in the vp editor. Under Pinball X- only the table shows.

I have 719 other 2 screen tables working perfectly, so it's not a matter of settings.

Search Rocket III at vpf- that is the unmodifed version I have on my cab.

If no one has any ideas, I may have to remake it myself, but I don't have the time.

Ok, I found a little more on this. This seems to be a problem with Loserman's tables. About a dozen that I know of. The backglasses work under vp alone, but not under Pinball X (Table only). I don't know what's happening differently under vp alone, than under Pinball X.

Hi Itchigo,

I just installed Rocket III in my Cab ... absolute no Problems!

Got the files from vpfor*ms.org ( Rocket III (Bally 1967) 1.0a FS / Rocket III (Bally 1967) dB2S / Media Pack and GuStaV's mp3 )

I had nothing to change in the script of the table, (only the Coin-Button in the "keys-option") and it works ... at once ... in VP and in PinballX ... with a working backglass in both.

I'm using Visual Pinball 9.9.0 and PinballX 2.6.2.

So the problem seems to be your software ???

Regards

Gilbert

I forgot to update this, sorry. The backglass worked- just not when played with Pinball X. But I did a fix, as I found it to be a problem with all of Loserman's tables. I don't know why this worked because either the backglass should work under both (VP and VP with Pinball X), or neither one. What I did was go into the script and make B2SON true in all cases (not give it a choice of on or off). Normally this should be the difference between it working or not. Not working on one and not the other....

But thanks for the reply. :)
