Can't launch GameEx default settings Windows 10 x64?

If you wouldn't mind please provide a copy of your gameex.ini. Was this a new install of Windows 10 or upgrade over WIndows 7/8/8.1? Also, have you installed Windows 10 drivers for your video card? Might also help to know what codecs you are using. Thanks!

As Draco mentioned, you're going to need some codecs, but if you're running the previously recommended sharks, then you should be fine.

If you don't have any special codecs installed, these LAV filters are from the PinballX site, and are the current recommended version.

Make sure you have net framework 3.5 installed too.

Thank you for the suggestions. It was an upgrade from 8.1. I installed the filters and made sure NET Frame 3.5 was installed and I got the same error. I then reverted back to 8.1 and it was giving me the same error. So I said screw it and just did a fresh Win7 install and now its working fine.

Just curious, what's your plan, stick with 7?

I have ran it fine in all three operating systems, Windows 7 upgraded to 10, and my main rig on 8/8.1.

It's a bummer, but I bet a clean install gets you right on track.

I'm still willing to bet the issue is driver related for the ArcadeVGA 2. The table located here does not show a Windows 10 equivalent available. Likely the 8.1 drivers available for 2 of the PCIe cards might work, but with such a niche card, likely they may not.
