Tom,

Can we cut/paste the pieces from our .ahk script? for example:

    <game name="TheWalkingDead"> <description>The Walking Dead</description> <manufacturer>Zen</manufacturer> <year>2014</year> <type>SS</type> <hidedmd>False</hidedmd> <hidebackglass>False</hidebackglass> <enabled>True</enabled> <rating>0</rating> <SendKeysOnStart> Sleep, 11000 Send {Enter Down}, Send {Enter Up} Sleep, 20 Send {Enter Down}, Send {Enter Up} Sleep, 500 Send {Right Down}, Send {Right Up} Sleep, 20 Send {Right Down}, Send {Right Up} Sleep, 20 Send {Enter Down}, Send {Enter Up} </SendKeysOnStart> </game>

Zeenon, that won't work but I have just finished implementing full integrated Pinball FX 2 support anyway. I am just doing some final testing and I will be releasing it today.

Omg! I just spent 2 nights installing new tables and hand making script for changes! :) now this gets released. Great work Tom but will wait to update as I just got fx2 working with my new add on tables

Is game manager still limited to 340 tables?

Posted

No worries.

Yes, Game Manager is still limited but I fixed the bug where it would erase the end of the list if it was more than 340 some time ago. So its perfectly fine to use for PBFX2.

I am pretty happy with Nukelauncher foe the moment and maybe wont switch instantly cause I like the additional features nukelaucher has to offer.

I already named my sytem "Pinball FX2" with a space. so is that a problem if I want to merge? first quick test an renaming to Pinball FX2old showed that pinballx deosn't seem to make another system if I enable built in fx2 in config wiz. doesn't show in the config...

How does one select the "grid position" in the game manager?

I created a new Pinaball FX2 list and it looks like the regular VP/FP list.

Does this incorporate the game/joystick mappings that we set in PBX to pull in for PBFX2? I have a cabinet setup and do not use a KB or mouse.

Sorry, I messed up and didn't include the update to game manager in the installer. Please download and install again.

The way I see it - the benefit of having it integrated is things like in game and the exit mappings work but if your happy with another solution there is no reason to switch. Its cool for new users coming to PBX though.

OK thanks, will try again.

What if my existing setup us already called pinball fx2 with a space in between? Will everything explode? :)

Not sure what the settings should be for using PFX2 through steam. I tried the settings in the ?(help) but it literally just launches the steam front end not PFX2.

I take it Fx2 is not working

Okay I got the Fx2 working in Pinballx, But is there anyway to make it so it stops where you can select number of players?

Siderpoint, yeah you are missing the parameters.
Should be:
Parameters=-applaunch 226980

Got it. Working good for me now. Need to figure out the grid pattern. I think I have them backwards because I run windows in portrait mode (desktop).

Thanks!

What am I doing wrong? I have the tables in a folder (shown), the executable is in the previous folder Pinball FX2. It starts to load, but then crashes back to the selection screen the same way as if I was selecting a table that wasn't there. But I get no errors on "Verify".

Your PinballFX2.exe file is in the data stream folder? Mine is not if I remember correctly, program files (x86)\steam\common is coming to mind...but I'm not at my PC to verify.

Hey Tim,

If your PFX2 is not a Steam app, the I don't think you need the parameters field filled out. If it is a Steam app, then yeah your workingpath should be the Steam folder like outthere said, the Executable should be Steam.exe and you should have a hyphen before the parameter ie: -applaunch 226980.

I can't get pinball FX2 to show up with my other systems. I look at the config and it looks good to me.
