I've tried to enable everything in GameEx but I must be missing something simple I'm guessing. I have a complete v158 split, non-merged, set at 50.5 GB not including CHD's. In Mala, the game count is 29,873. In RomCenter, the game count is 29,909. In GameEx, the game count is 11,273. Attached is my gameex.ini. tthurman Posted February 4, 2015 Share Posted February 4, 2015 (edited) GameEx takes a lot of titles out of the picture right away, games you almost certainly wouldn't play, and a good portion of what your seeing is exactly that.If you weren't seeing arcade classics for example it could be one of the other settngs, but I see you've disabled verfiy roms, which is a often times the culprit, so that's not it. Might help to check this thread for some other tips and suggestions, but for GameEx, you're showing a large number of titles.Additionally, you may want to try removing the "Japan" filter, as you may lose some games you actually want. These are games that are never likely to do much of anything in the foreseeable future unless you plug a crane or mole into your arcade cab! They can make up the majority of what you are seeing absent. I personally am glad of this and wouldn't want them in my list, but everyone is different. If you want them included change the filters in Setup Wizard> Custom> MAME Settings (scroll down a bit) Obviously, don't forget to Update List like you always should when making any changes to your MAME Setup Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I don't know how but who knows.- Tom mentioned in that other thread that Slot Machines are included in the auto-filtering. I know that some Slot Machines do work in Mame so I'd definitely like them to show. I've got 2 in my basement so I do love the slots.Is there an ini file somewhere where I can make a quick change to get them all?Can I put in a request to be able to have the whole list and get more filtering?ThanksPS. the filter in the setup wizard for no casino games shows 'Gimme Casion' as an option. You can setup MAME as a standalone emulator and probably see all the broken and non working bits, but, to be honest it really isn't worth the effort for the ROMS being filtered out.
