[RESOLVED] DMD Problem

The problem is that when you start a table through PinballX, the table is displayed correctly with your backglass but the DMD does not appear. Actually stays in the background and to display it I have to press ALT + TAB or press the Reset key F3 ..... but this causes problems on some tables as in T2 or STTNG where the guns stop working. I tested without the front end, and tables loaded with their corresponding backglass and dmd.

Use 3 versions of VP from the Front End .... any solution for loading tables from the DMD display PinballX directly without having to use the F3 key or ALt + TAB?

I've tried everything and I can not find the fault , install VPinMAME again, check that all exe vp ARE as administrator as well as also those of Pinballx , record the B2S again as administrator , resetie to its original value all the rom and reconfigure and I can not solve the problem.

If I run the tables from the vp everything works great , but if I do it through the PinballX , the dmd remains behind the backglass .

Run the version 1.92 to the present , and is the same.

Not if it's a problem of Windows 8.1 or same PinballX ....

The last thing left for me to try , is to return to windows 7 x64.

Returning to Win 7 likely will not resolve it. Hang in there as I am sure someone will be able to point you in the right direction.

Always make sure vp editor is open and closing on playfield(screen 1) can't view your logs from tap talk but are you running anything at launch before vp in pinballx? Is so try removing that seems those things need tweaking such as less delays in script...but if your not running anything else before vp then I'm not sure why that would be happening. Back glass monitor 2? Dmd monitor 3? And match pinball x settings for monitors?

I probe around and I can not fix it .... went back to windows 7 x64 and it is not that, but when in doubt , I decided to try it .... (I had warned me that there was not the problem).
So for now, the car will wait just try to find fault ... and this is fixed in an upcoming update.
The problem is with 2 screens 've tried it with 3 and there is no problem , but I only use two .

Yes! Yes! Yes!

The fix was to change the visual pinball .exe to run in Windows XP Service pack 3 or WIndows 7 or Windows 8 compatibility mode.

All works perfect now!!!!
