bclinton
I want to start a new project and build an arcade cocktail machine. Lot of examples are out there and I can pick up a kit for about $375 but I would like to build it myself. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to find plans for building one. It looks relatively easy as far as woodworking goes but I prefer to use proven measurements. Thanks in advance...

tthurman
I've seen some really interesting cocktail tables without a doubt. Granted no plans, but you may pick up some ideas just from browsing photos and videos. Some of the coolest ideas have been the three sided variants, some even multifunction as a single player, where the third side becomes a primary single player setup.Naturally I can't find these on short notice, but I ran across them many times in my search for pedestal ideas. One of my favs was a fellow that had a basement bar setup, with sort of bartop cocktail on one end. Definitely do some youtube and image searching, you'll probably find some creative ideas from those that took it to the next level. If you're gonna build, aim high right? Keep us posted with your progress in the "Rigs" section!
tthurman
Had a little luck browsing for these this morning. Here's one in particluar I remember. I gotta tell you, some of these really had me reconsidiering the pedestal idea at one point! Then from the originality side of things. Some cool stuff here too!....and check thesemore here.........you could go all out, and have a cocktail while playing on your custom cocktail barThe one I mentioned that was sort of end the bar still eludes me. If I find it, I'll post a link.
