Do you have any kind of ad-blocking software, or AV "live shields" etc installed on your home rig? They may have something to do with it. GE product site loads fine here (just did a hard refresh too).

EDIT - maybe you should try that, might have been a corrupted script that keeps getting loaded i dunno not good with that sort of thing ^_^ hit CTRL+F5

I use Ad Block Plus but that has never interfered with the site before it only just started happening today.

Yes I am getting a DNSSearch issue? before it went away now it's back

I would reset your modem/router (switch it off at the mains, wait at least 30 seconds, switch back on. Oh and powerdown your pc too)

I rebooted my router and modem and it's working again. :)

Sorry bout that guys didn't mean to get side tracked with my DNS issue. ;)

I think that the posts (DNS issues) should be moved to a separate thread please.

@Krak - try clearing your browser cache (temp internet files) and open a command prompt and type ipconfig /flushdns

gameex.net is not resolving for some reason and I am working on it.

Do you think you might have gone to gameex.net instead of gameex.com?

It should redirect but its not resolving for some reason.

Well for now it's working Tom I just rebooted my router and modem and it is working now.

btw I did goto gameex.com as it is bookmarked permanently :) and I double checked it.

to quote myself, ^_^ maybe Krak's ISP really is blocking some forms of redirects/protocols?

Yeah its working now although it wasn't and not sure for how long.

First hit in google for "gameex" is gameex.net so it was quite a big issue.

I think Google has crapped on gameex.com's ranking because of their recent backlinks change and all the backlinks on gamesdbase.com which I just removed.

Probably just slow updating DNS

I don't know if TW is as bad as Comcast (nah nobody's that bad), but anyway Comcrap used to have the most unreliable DNS servers I've ever seen. A combination of public DNS address from Google, Open DNS, and your ISP as a third alternative, if at all, should keep you well covered from situatuions like this.

Google

8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

OpenDNS

208.67.222.222

208.67.220.220

my .02

Just an FYI. The main gameex.com website was not loading for quite some time on my iPad the other day. I finally just connected to the forum with Tap a Talk. I then realized Tom had released a video of GameEx evolution, but the media wasn't showing in the app. I then went back to gameex.com and it wasn't loading. I then went on my cab to the forums and I was able to view the video there. A little later that evening, I got the main site to load without issue and was able to view the video. I just figured it was due to high web traffic viewing the media.

I was using a favorite bar link, which was directed to the .com not the .net. I also typed it in a few times.

I have Comcast

Could be if the issue is widespread. I did have a couple of weird issues this week. Although Virgin is a UK provider only for internet access as far as I know. The web server is in the states but the DNS server is in the UK.
