I really love it when I see folks promoting GameEx and spreading the word. Its the best compliment I can be given. Its one thing to show appreciation here within our comfort zone but when you have an active member of the community putting his back on the line elsewhere it really is above and beyond. As you know not everyone else will agree with you outside these walls.

For that I would like to take the opportunity to promote Riffman81 to Elite status so he can get early access to Evolution related stuff and to say thanks.

Cheers.

Tom.

Awesome news! I'm always impressed by Riffman81's willingness to help out around the forums, and his enthusiasm for GameEx both here and elsewhere beyond these forums. Thanks for being a part of this community Riffman81 and congratulations!

Wow! Thanks guys! I was extremely surprised upon receiving this news. Over the past year or so since discovering GameEx and this great community, it has been you guys that have come through for me each and every time when I needed help setting something up or just had a general question. So for that, I say thank you! I've been around emulation for quite a long time and up until arriving here, I had never been a part of a community as welcoming and as helpful as this one. All of the great support here is truly reflected in the software. GameEx is a software that truly speaks for itself and that's just one of the many things that make GameEx so great! I can't wait to be a part of the next chapter with Evolution. It's funny how the more things change, the more they stay the same. As GameEx evolves and moves forward, I hope to do the same in a sense... by learning more, being more involved, and more helpful around the forums. So once again, thanks to ALL of you who have helped me along the way and thanks to you Tom for a truly great piece of software (and for keeping my inner nerd from getting bored)! I've written several articles on GameEx here and there, and would write a dozen more without question to get more folks involved and tuned in. It really is such a privilege to be involved here with this great community! Forgive me if I'm running my words together, I'm at work but wanted to post a reply before having to go back to my day job! Once again, thank you!

Congrats!

I'm still a newbie here , regardless of my registration date, but it's obvious to me this is a community of great individuals, all with a common goal of having some good old fashion fun. It must be a tremendously rewarding feeling to be appreciated by your fellow peers, not to mention the man himself!

I just googled Riffman81. For you to say 'I had never been a part of a community as welcoming and as helpful as this one.' is quite a compliment, as it looks like you belong to quite a few forums. I also now fully understand your user name after I listened to some guitar music by you. Well worth a listen. :)

Really interesting you found music by me Tempest, I thought I had had it all removed when my band split.... ;) Yes I'm a musician, it's my first love so to speak, but game collecting is also another love of mine that's as equally rewarding. The pics I shared at the link above are just a preview... I have so much more that I'd like to dig out and take photos of for you guys... maybe soon.

Congrats bro! I have been a member of this forum for a long time but was never really active until recently, and you helped me out quite a bit getting set up with making Video Snaps and helping me get Contributor status on the Emumovies' forums. This place really is full of nice, helpful people. :) Enjoy all that an Elite Member can enjoy!
