  1. Star Trek TNG. "Sensors indicate lock is lit." [emoji3]
  2. I can vouch for DisplayFusion Pro. It's absolutely brilliant, and I'd be lost without it! I have 3 monitors and a TV connected to my PC and have set up hotkeys to control which screens are enabled and at what resolution. It also automatically moves and resizes windows belonging to specified programs, which is very handy.
  3. Ooh, great find! Never heard of this remake before but I love the Jaguar version. Will definitely be giving this a go later.
  4. Thanks very much for this. I still enjoy hearing the old game music from my youth. I wonder if somewhere in the back of a drawer I still have a tape of Spectrum game music I recorded in the 1980s, and some magazine covertapes of arcade music such as Outrun...
  5. Nice work! These look really good, although I have to say all the flashing eyes are creeping me out a bit. [emoji15]
  6. Here's my NAS experience... I've got a QNAP TurboNAS and a Netgear ReadyNAS, each with 4x3TB WD Red drives. Both are using JBOD mode, as RAID isn't suitable for my situation. The QNAP is used to back up 4 drives in my main PC - an assortment of downloaded music/video and the random chaos that is My Documents. By setting up Samba shares on the NAS I can stream the contents over my wired & wireless network and thus listen to albums via my Sonos system and watch video via my media PC. It is switched on all the time, with the drives spinning up and down as needed, but can also wait in standby for a wake on lan packet. The Netgear is full of off-air TV recordings and is backed up to external drives. The firmware doesn't support spin up/down yet so I have to manually wake it and put it to sleep as required, using the NAS Utils app for Android. Annoying, but it was half the price of the QNAP so I can't really complain.
  7. Disney did actually release a free Wreck-It Ralph game for Android, but weirdly it didn't appear in the Play store when I searched for it just now. I know it exists as I've got it on my phone! Just checked the My Apps part of the store and the game doesn't appear in the Installed list but is in the All list and shows as being installed. Very odd. Anyway, Google for it and you should be able to download and install it.
  8. Thanks for the heads up. I too have problems using a mouse and keyboard, and only heard about PGP recently, so this will be a great help.
  9. Hmm, after AvP here are some more iconic games that I've bought second hand, never got around to installing and can now get on GoG but probably won't find time to play? I'll wait for a sale! [emoji3]
  10. Thanks, I've just been bold enough to join the GameEx group and send some friend invites to the people who have posted here and in the previous thread.
  11. Just stumbled across this. I'm not very active here or on Steam so I feel like a bit of an interloper, but here's my ID: http://steamcommunity.com/id/agrajagrb/ I only have one friend on Steam, and I feel a bit awkward adding people who don't really know me, but if anyone wants to make me less lonely, please feel free! I've had an add button in my signature on two other forums for a few weeks and nobody has clicked it yet...
  12. Well clearing the cache didn't help and the link in nullpointer's post takes me to the same incorrect page as before, so yes I guess it's a bug. Works OK if I select Open In Browser though. As you were...
  13. I just clicked on that link in Tapatalk and it took me to a thread about setting up WinVICE.

At the rate I've been adding tables, it will be about 5 years before I hit this limit!
  15. Great work! Looks like a commercial product.
  16. Might be easier in the long run to demux the video from the f4v files and remux into mp4. I don't know off the top of my head how to do this but will investigate.
  17. All I did was install it and tick the box for recommended settings. I'm currently testing 1.27 and all is going well so far but I'll try what you suggested and report back tomorrow.
  18. Could be. I have installed the Shark codecs with recommended settings, but there might be some other junk left behind. I'll see if I can do anything with it over the weekend but I might have to live with the problems until such time as I build a new PC or can be bothered to reinstall Windows on this one. Computers, eh?
  19. 1st table playfield video corrupted or failing to play sometimes but not every time, and other table videos disappearing at random as I cycle back and forth or exit a table, then eventually all playfield videos fail to play. Backglasses are OK though. Launched a random table (Sorcerer) successfully, then when exiting it all three screens went black and I had to kill the program with task mgr. log.txt PinballX.ini
  20. Replacement exe had some glitches on the first few videos, went all the way round twice, then no video on the first table then stopped responding. 1.25 started on T2, I right flippered my way to the 1st table and got no video, 2nd table (BTTF) video played OK, 3rd table onwards no video. log.txt
  21. No change - it's still sitting there in the middle of the playfield screen while loading and playing VP tables.
  22. Still having trouble I'm afraid. Looked OK as I cycled all the way round with right shift, then no video when I got to Airborne and stopped responding on BTTF.
  23. Getting closer... I've installed the Shark codecs and the latest 1.23 and all the videos played fine when I scrolled from start to finish with the right flipper then back again with the left. I then whizzed back and forth a few times by holding down the flippers (shift keys), then stepped through the tables again one at a time with the left flipper and when I got to RUSH 2112 it stopped playing any videos from then on. Going forward again, it stopped responding when I got to BTTF.
