  1. I am using iTunes. So you're saying that I shouldn't use iTunes?
  2. So, when I set the Jukebox to play when I start GameEx, the jukebox will play, but it minimizes GameEx to the taskbar. Is there a way to get this to stop?
  3. So from what I reading, It seems that I should utilize both N64 emulators depending on the job. It also seems widely accepted that BSNES is the way to go for SNES games. The SEGA Genisis emulator seems to be fine. But I do wonder about NES. I don't really like Nestopia that much. Thanks for all the feedback. I'll start looking though all the links posted.
  4. On my everlasting hunt to improve the ol Artcade Console, I came to GameEx. Now I see there is a heafty list of emulators and was wondering, what emulators does everyone here prefer for their setup? Right now I got ZSNES, Nestopia, Project 64, and Kega Fusion.
  5. Since I just got GameEx on my homebuilt arcade, I should be proper and post pics of it here. Some of the pics are a couple years old, and the machine is getting upgrades so Ill just post the new stats here. Dell PC Win XP 80 gig HD 2 GB ram (not the most impressive PC I know) CRT Monitor Plexiglass Changable Light Bar Signs (with graphics printed on transparencies) Light sockets wired around the top for blacklights Blacklight Paint that is invisible in normal light (thats why its yellow in the day shots and green in the night) Car Filters Vent Fan for a bathroom X-Arcade Tankstick w trackball Aimtrak light gun MAME NES Genisis SNES N64 MUGEN The best Fan Games and Hacked Games I could find And at the hear of my design, Separates into 2 separate boxes with carts for transport. And is powered by 3 deep cycle marine batteries for use in any environment. I designed it to handle the heat and dust of Burning Man. Performs like a champ! Some of my design choices might be a bit primative compared to a lot of ones I've seen here but I knew nothing about building arcade machines, and knew nothing about this online community of people building their own as well.
  6. I don't really need anything reguarding the mouse just yet. Joystick2mouse is just a program i use to get my controllers to read as keyboards. So I have tried the above and it only seems to make the left and right work, but not any of the buttons. The game in particular uses the arrows and the X C keys. The game is "Normal Super Mario Bros 3" and the controller is the KO Fight stick. Tho at the end of the month I will have the X-arcade tankstick.
  7. Thanks this seems like it might be the solution. But for some clarification, with this, I would no longer need to use joy2mouse, correct?
  8. So, I just got GameEx and I understand that though the emulators, I can map all of the keys. But there are a few fan games out there that I like and have a locked controller map. Before I had GameEx, I used joystick2mouse to create profiles so these games would run with my controllers. I would like to load these games from GameEx as well. My question is, can I get GameEx to change the controller scheme without having to leave the program? Before I would have to change the profile manually before I loaded said fan game.
