Hey, Anybody have any experience with using this program, Pro's and Con's compared to GIMP ? I know the basics of what inkscape does but needed an opinion or 2

This is a new project I have started and are looking to finish within the next couple of hours. The basis of this project is to have a logo for every single game available for the specified system, in this case ColecoVision, The reason I will be creating these is for me, others and a future project. I am looking to do this for most systems available for use within GameEx. Yes I must be mad to take on more of this type of work but in the long run they will end up being used I am at the moment trying to steer clear of my themes due to the dedication this and my other logo sets involves. Some of the logos are sourced from elsewhere but I still have to find another 14 and work my magic. Please keep in mind that some of these logos are extremely hard to get as smooth as possible but I will try to do it.

hiandyp, Patience with making and editing themes means rewards. There are various materials and faqs as mentioned above by the guys. If you could be a little more specific as to what your trying to achieve, the answers will come quicker. Me neither

oooooooh man, I dont really know what to say other than over the past couple of months I have been working as hard as I can to fit within this wonderful community, What makes it so great is that all members are warm and very welcoming, I couldnt ask for a better place to be. A very funny thing just happened, I just recently returned from a trip to my local Gamestation as I know one of the guys who works there and he always rings me up if any rarities get traded in, I picked up Kingdom Hearts and Okami for £1 the pair and he offered me an Elite Gamestation card How weird is that? Ive attached the theme.ini which contains Image2 Please make a backup of your theme.ini from your alpha olive theme and overwrite with mine, ive just tested it and it works fine.

Hey, If you don't mind me asking what theme are you trying to modify, this could shed some light on the situation.

@AIpha, Thanks for the kind words, I wanted to have these to be more flexible so more people could use them. I thought creating the banners with a different background would have been ok but wouldn't have fitted with most people's themes due to them being a specific color scheme.

@nullpointer, Thanks Yes it is, silent hill 2 is one of my favorite games of all time, I thought why not make a theme on something specific this time, and on the plus side it's not really to difficult to create

Did you enable your key combo in the advanced emulator setup for your specified emulator? @Tom, The reason why I mentioned the Advanced Config was because I thought this would be the most efficient way for his issue as reading through the forums I have noticed a few people having trouble with the global exit option, me included when I first started using GameEx.

You could set up an advanced emulator config and set your exit keys there and enable it under advanced emulator setup, thats what I did when I had problems exiting some emulators. Edit* Advanced config is located in the root of your GameEx folder and advanced emulator setup is located in the setup wizard after emulator setup. Its not really too difficult to set up but if you need a little more in depth advice please ask

They have basic wheel art per system available on their downloads section, but most of the other systems wheel art on their ftp, which I dont have access to, but I do know someone who does have access, who is currently on holiday

Thanks for the advice guys, I was looking for complete game logo sets (HS wheelart) for a possible future project and one of the rare sources is Hyperspin, I was browsing their earlier today and HS and a few others are the sites that seem to hold the key to what I need. What I didn't want was to take the art from their site, publish here after my editing and then someone looks here and finds their work being used by me a GameEx user. As I respect GameEx and the community 100% I felt I needed some assurance from some higher power at GameEx. Thanks Again
