I switched on my PC this morning and opened GameEx and loaded PCSX2 as well as other emulators and my official 360 wireless pad which is fully setup using Xpadder doesnt work with any emulator at all when loaded in GameEx, but my advanced config to exit any emulator using keypresses on my 360 pad still works. Really Strange. Also my 360 pad works when navigating GameEx, It's like it stops working when the emulator boot's up. I've checked the emulator's outside GameEx using my 360 Pad and everything is working fine. I'll upload the relevant files when I get home later.
My first and last score for this game (using the settings in the first post) I took the screenshot when I just finished putting my initials on the screen. To be honest this game is not that hard. Initials: KRC 123,180 pts
I just got 101,420 points but when I took a screenshot it was just black, My MAME doesn't keep Hi-Scores they just reset themselves, Ive fixed the issue with the black screen, So it looks like I will have to do the score again
Hope you climb aboard the wagon again soon, I recently gave up via an electronic cigarette and havent touched a cigarette in 4 weeks, but it's not the same as giving up completely.
I was a little to young to play it when it came out but I do remember a hotel on the UK's west coast having the Popeye Arcade Machine in the reception area and my older brother playing it and getting frustrated.
I tried Freq's Misfit MAME Map File and it's immaculate, all named correctly, A hidden gem right there fellas. I'm actually pretty joyous at this time, Thanks to Freq for the Map file and nP for the nudge in the right direction.
Yeah HBMAME is formerly Misfit Mame, I will definitely try out Freq's Misfit Mame Map File, I'm not sure if there have been any updates since Freq uploaded that MAP file, but I suppose it is a starting point.
I was looking on the Steam store yesterday and I cannot understand how they can justify some of their prices once they go back to the normal price after a sale.
Ive got the 1.49 MAME Map File sorted, I got it from here. http://www.gameex.info/forums/topic/13440-looking-for-mame-0149-map-file/ Just need the HBMAME Map File, I'll have to check what set I have as this may be of help.
