Downloaded all new screen shots for Dreamcast and put them in the correct folders in Assets in Drive C But the nullDC emulator keeps showing the old ones even though I have deleted them!?? help

I ram running gameEx with the following emulators: "Mame" "Future Pinball" "SNES" "N64" "Dreamcast" I will be adding more later, my problem is with the Dreamcast Emulator, as in all the other emulators I have filled the SNAPS folder and the BOX ART with the relevant art but on start up GameEx/Dreamcast none are shown? they have all been placed in the assets folders and are all jpg files. I have Just installed nullDC Dreamcast emulator, and its working fine BUT!! when I select a game from the list at the bottom left it just goes to the emulator and doesn`t load the game I choose, as it does on other emulators eg: SNES,Future Pinball,Mame.etc is it something I have set up wrong?It will load the game by selecting play from the top left menu and pointing to the folder & then selecting the rom. as you would on a PC,but that is defeating the whole concept of GameEx.I have set up the emulator in game wizard to point to the correct folder and done a verify and I said earlier it shows the games but does not play them. ut that is defeating the whole concept of GameEx isn`t it

Found the log files , But where are the ini files?

I have just downloaded the Dreamcast emulator from setup wizard and added some Roms, the roms have CDI file ext and the emulator doesnt see them ! what am I doing wrong? anyone help? Regards an avid user

Each time I start to play a table, and as soon as the ball enters the chute my pc starts to make a terrible NOISE until the ball is released, this occurs on 80% of my tables, is this a programming fault or something in the setup?.Regards

Please keep this topic running ! this is the heart of gaming the world over "8 Bit ATARI 400/800 is where it all started (not counting consoles).I posted a topic asking for an emulator on GameEx for an Atari 8 bit long ago (you can check!) . At present I have just discovered "Altirra and am using it to run my 200+ roms with no problem except Joypad control (Logitech Wingman Cordless Rumble) this works with everything except Altirra! cant figure out how to set it up?. To end this blog I would just like to say that I think that this 8 bit emulator should be the heart of GameEx ,as previously stated this is where it all began for all those early pc gamers out there, keep up the good work. Regards PS. I still have my Atari 800 and some carts but I was stupid and sold my happy drive and disk based games in the late eighties (wish I had NOT)

I have got automatic updares set to automatic so when I get updates when running gameEx It updates automatically goes off switches to windows 7 updates the files then restarts GameEx. THEN when it starts it comes up in the bottom left hand corner with the message there is a new update & do I wish to install it!!! whats going on? it does this everytime I start GameEx can anyone help. Regards I have checked in windows for the install date and its still Sept17 2013

SOLVED! thanks didnt realise the screen scrolled I have one more problem it must be something I have changed! instead of getting a LIST of all MAME games I am getting screen shots scrolling from left to right! how do I get it back to a list? is it something in setup wizard? Otherwise this is the nuts, a lot of people have put in a lot of time and effort, it tells. regards a grateful user

Still cant find "Update List"! sorry but there are so many menus GameEx is still showing roms I have deleted and not the ones I have added! is the update list in Setup Wizard?

Where do i find "Update List" ? I thought GameEx automatically looked at the rom folder each time it started? and updated its self, sorry about what may seem a stupid question but I am faily new at this! Regards

Can anyone explain why mame sees all my roms but when i run Game|Ex it doesnt see them all?

I have just set up GameEx on my New PC used to have it a couple of years ago, BUT! I am having one problem! I have set up a N64 Emulator everything is fine the roms all load as does everything else eg: videos,backdrops, roms everthing. One problem when it loads a rom the PC desktop comes half on then goes off and the rom list comes up, when I go to play a rom the screen goes blank for a couple of seconds then goes back to the roms list, its the same on every game, they play fine on the n64 emulator but not in gameEx can anyone please help! I have been at it now for 3 days solid to no avail, any help would be very much appreciated, thanks

I have recently loaded the above ps3 joypad and it works amazingly good except for the buttons! it worked perfectly first time but not since, it works on mame and on other pc games but not on GameExI have double checked the setup and everything is correct? what am I missing if anyone could help I would be wery obliged. thank you Frank.

The joystick does not work at all in the games on anything, only on the front end menu it will move up or down in the menus and select a game by pressing a button, but once the game starts nothing!!, strang because it works flawlessly in MAME stand alone but in gameEx nothing
