I see a list of roms, and when I run ParaJVE from the desktop I get all the bezels ,carts etc in colour!.It starts ok in GameEx lists all my roms I downloaded but when I go select one and play it says roms cannot be found. Please find "run last game" enclosed.

Yea I was!, this is really confusing is everything included in the emulator? carts,box's,titles,videos, etc, or do I still point to them as you usually do in emulator setup? as you see here. Is the rom path now correct?. It still isnt working with this setup, still not seeing the roms!. Regards.

Tried all of the above,still no joy! it comes up with "ParaJVE cannot find the specified game:Mine Storm (1982)(GCE)-FULLSCREEN=TRUE ParaJVE still runs ok outside of GameEx

Installed ParaJVE and set it up, runs fine BUT! please find enclosed my "Last game run" file & and my config: when I go to play the game it comes up with rom not found? which is J:VECTREX\Cart which is correct, is it the command line? I copied and pasted the command line I was given what am I missing? ParaJVE runs fine on its own but in B/W.

Hi just downloaded the Vectrex emulator, got all the roms but when i run the emulator and choose the game to play the screen goes blank for an instant then goes back to the play screen! any ideas? the command line was inserted by the emulator please find enclosed my config file

yea that did the trick, also altering the screen settings! it was set to full screen and wide screen,NO! set it to your screen resolution mine is 1920x1200 then it runs fine

Got another problem now only found out when trying to play the tables, every table comes up with "Pinball mediation error-script error" went on the "GoPinball.com" site and they say it has to be run as an administrator!I tried it outside of GameEx and it works! but how do you run as administrator within Game\EX?

Thanks tried everything you said, Scan Sub Folders worked fine but showed all the files,so i tied the *.exe and got no files or tables so I thought is it an exe? so I examined the table files they have an extension of *.fpt so I tried that and VIOLA!!! it works fine. I am having Trouble with GameEx seeing some of my tables it sees all the exe tables but not the ones in folders which is about 60% I think it must be the command line but have no idea what to change it to any help would be very much appreciated.I have tried taking the exe file out of the folder,but it crashes and says some files are missing.so I took them all out of the folder but all the files come up in the games list in the emulator.

Do you do a PC case transfer or vinyl stick? for my GameEx rig? something about 17cm x 42cm, would be nice. Regards

I apologize for my lack of patience and thank all that help which is phenomenal!, I spend an inordinate time on my PC where I have no idea of the time (20hrs) sometimes and forget that other users are probably asleep being there is a 5/6 hours time difference, once again my apologies.

If any body out there is running this "Altirra" emulator I would be glad to receive an answer to the above question as I am stumped. Regards a novice but full time user of GameEx and very avid fan

Hooray its up and running, just 1 problem when I press escape to exit the game it gives me the high score table of the game in progress, even though esc is set for global exit.In the stand alone emulator you have to select EXIT from a drop down menu under FILE.

So far so good got the emulator up and running in GameEx but have a similar problem I had with Dreamcast!,I select the game to play and it flashes to windows then goes back to play game? also in what file do I place the ATARI 400/800 LOGO?. Regards. PS. When I run Altirra I have to select "FILE" then "BOOT IMAGE" then select the rom and double click it to play, if this helps

How do I "Create a new emulator config in the GameEx Wizard." when its not listed?

Its not the games that I want I have them ALL! its just setting Altirra up in GameEx that I need to Know, I am fairly new to GameEx so have no Idea how to start. I run all my games through Altirra ok, but would be nice to incorporate it into GameEx. Regards to all you who know GameEx inside out. Merry Xmas & a Happy New Year to all.

Is there any chance that in the NEAR future that this 8bit Atari emulator (Altirra) could be added to the list of emulators as it an excellent emulator with lots of roms out there and other bits. This is one of the iconic first home computers that cost around £400/£600 pounds at the time. It was this system that got me into computing.I am still the proud owner of a Atari 800 but sadly not many games (Too Expensive) at the time. Regards an avid emulator fan.

Reinstalled direct x,I now get "nulldc has stopped working" nothing now about missing dll

Re installed nulldc and put some missing files in! oops,now it starts to run but stops and says "d3dx9_42.dll" is missing I have downloaded it but have no idea where to put it? can you help .I am running win7 64bit

Yes exactly same as above, nulldc blue screen with all the menus greyed out!

With regards to runitgame bat, put in the pause and ran it ! I got the nullDC startup screen as before,pressed a key and got the dialogue! no errors!

Done that now when I choose a game to play instead of going back to game list it shows the "nullDC screen with the menu top left greyed out"
