ok the problem was bluetooth after all (kicking myself). Turns out soon as i disabled my wiimote bam-o no more winterblast plugin issue. it must only be certain bluetooth device that have issues with winterblast. Like i said before i got it working on another computer in the house that also has bluetooth on it. but i only use it for the keyboard and mouse on that computer. I hope mesk is right about MAME playing all zinc games soon cause i had to disable my zinc support for now :/ it will just take too much time to figure out how to map all the keys for all games to work with my x360 controller. i tried diffrent Zinc Fe but none will work i always get controller plugin error. The problem is the winterblast plugin. It just quit working for some odd reason. Even when i tried starting from scratch and re-setting the emulator/plugins no luck. I have read that winterblast plugin has issues with bluetooth but i dont think that is the problem. I tested my Zinc setup on another pc in the house that also has bluetooth and works fine? my other option was to try xpadder. But not sure how i can make it load different configs when i launch different games. This whole situation has got me Stumped.

@mesk, ill try the aldos FE and see if i have any luck with that. do you have zinc setup as its own emulator or w/ the Gameex native zinc support? can you please provide you command line or zinc options line so i can try it on my system. thanks

Strange I barrowed this zinc options line from mesk gameex.ini. It's the same one he uses. I swear it was working fine for me the way it is now. Has anyone (mesk) tested there zinc setup lately? But I'm willing to make what ever changes needed as long as I can get it working again. Do u have any suggestions for a new zinc options line? I'll have to try it after later today after work. i forgot to mention i am usin the winterblast inp controller plugin with wirless xbox360 controllers.

ok i got the runitgame.bat working its saying "Error cannot open controller plugin"? i havent changed my controller plugin i even tryed deleteing it and the re extracting the zip but still not working.

i did the steps but when i add the "pause" to my runitgame.bat file the window is still closing so i cant read the errors? this is what my runitgame.bat file looks like. zinc.txt

yes zinc is enabled under the zinc menu i have my path,EXE & Options all set and they did work for me a few weeks ago im just not sure what happend. Also under advance MAME i dont see any options for zinc. i do see model 2, atari, lightgun, ect. but no zinc option on that page.

Hey Adultery yes i am using the gameex intergrated support. i also tryed updating my game list in mame sill no luck.

Hey guys i got Zinc set up and wroking fine about 2-3 weeks ago. I played just a bit to make sure it was working and set up the controls. I havent touched it since. Today i go to play a game and i see no game will load. Gameex will attempt to load the game and then will just send me back to gameex. to me everything looks set up correct and should be working. I would be very greatful if someone could take a look and see if im missing something? i wonder if any of the recent Gameex updates had anything to do with it not working. i only say this because thats would be the only thing that has really been changed in the past few weeks because i have been working on custom backgrounds. gameex wont update to the latest version for some reason. i get the update notification but when i try to update nothing updates it just goes back to gameex and ask me to update again? i have 11.82

whats up guys just checkin in on this issue. I have been going non stop for the last 5 months and i am finally at a place where i can say im pretty statisfied with the way i have everything setup and working. this would be the iceing on the cake if anyone could help me get this working? Belive it or not i havent really played any of the games i got setup during this last 5 months. Im ready to actually play and enjoy the experience of Gameex.

i just did the latest software update to gameex and my arcade ambiance stopped working. I was gonna try selecting the folder instead of actual mp3 file in the advanced config but it wont let me select a folder it is asking for the file. Update- i got it working i had to select the folder but for some reason you cant do this from the advance config. So i used the setup wizard and all is good now. thanks gameex ini.txt

ok so i enabled emulator group under the Start menu instead of under emulators and still same issue. Also i dont think this is a issue with custom menus because i tried turning them off. Now i can open my all arcade games from my start page but none of my arcade emulators show up in the emulated games page like they normally would except mame? i am including screens of the start page with custom menus turned off and a screen of the emulated games page. This is where it normally list all emulators i have set up. as you can see all arcade emulators in the arcade group are missing. i must be doing something wrong when i set up the emulator groups? anymore ideas & thanks for all your help so far. updated gameex ini.txt

"1000" did not work for me. im having a bigger issue though as i removed my emulator groups because they didnt work as i hoped. i was thinking i could have my emulator group named "all arcade games" and have all my arcade games show up in under that menu. that did work fine however any other emulator i opend in that custom menu showed all the arcade games also instead of just showing the games for the selected emulator.i have my custome arcade menu set up: -All Arcade Games -MAME -CPS-1 -CPS-2 -CPS-3 -Naomi -Model2 no matter what i choses it will show all arcade games. is there anyway of fixing this or is it something that just cant be done?
