  1. Running on athlon 2.2ghz, 1 gb mem 2100 ,256 meg ATI.... nothing special runs great.. MAME no doubt will be slower
  2. Well Daphne 1.0 supports the ability to play from the disc directly. It automaticly dowlnloads all files from digital leisure. What you have is an older version of daphne that doesn't do this and requires to have these files (A RIP of the GAME/S VIDEO and ROMS and a FRAME FILE that says where the begining of the game sequences is. Im not sure if daphne ever supported DL2 before this new build and I believe is a touchy subject to ask for support on.
  3. Its finally here... Source.. http://www.speksnk.org/foro/viewtopic.php?t=66365 Source download from http://nebula.emulatronia.com/
  4. Here you go! Sorry it took so long. Ive been at the hospital..My wife had TWINS!!!! Back to the program its an...Ahem..private beta. Ok...Here is the deal I had a really hard time uploading this due to the 2mb limit so its in two parts. Also its not a ZIP file its a RAR file. I had to change the extention to zip so it would allow me to upload. Rename and extract with WINRAR.. Hope I didnt bend the rules too much. daphne0997privatebeta.part1.zip daphne0997privatebeta.part2.zip
  5. Ive got a build of daphne that lets you run it I'll upload it if you dont have it(unless it isn't allowed). Do you have the ROMS/MV2(video file) along with framefiles? MODS can I upload the emu?
  6. Page is up for me. But when I click on a snapshot it goes to 404. By the way I must have stared at adultys new avatar or whatever they call those things for like 10 minutes watching all those charcters poping out of marios pipe... Its awesome
  7. It seems that a button combo is changing the focuse of the program. What are the IPAC keys configured to now? Also I have an I pac and will lookint exactly how to change the MACRO's. As far as the TAB goes in MAME you need to set the config menu option to whatever key/keys you want it to open. maybe p2 start and p1 coin or somthing. As far as the tracker goes it's a cookie it logs what sites you vist in order to spam the heck out of you. Run ADAWARE
  8. Well it appers that an unoffical mame build supports AVI output. Its called buddamame download from here http://cpmaker.mameprojects.com/buddamame/download.htm It also appears to be at ver 106 depending on which romset you have this maybe a good option. or use this http://cpmaker.mameprojects.com/mng2avi/index.html MGN2AVI Personally I have never used these. There usaully is MAME EXTRAS torrent that has all the flyers and controlpanel pics as well as videos and other fun stuff to have. I would check your favorite tracker. Although I'am not sure what format they are in.
  9. Double post...sorry
  10. Well this is devistating news. But Id hardly think that the software will become redudant and everyones donation become nothing more than free money to Tom. This maen less people will see the startup screen that asks for a nonimal contribution to the project. They really are not benifitng by cracking GAMEEX as 99.9% of the features are included with the regular d/l. The Warez kiddies the download this software most likely wouldnt have paid for the software anyways. I personally dontated cause I love this app and this board, The nag removal was an added bonus and made regular use bearable.
  11. Well the four buttons on top are COIN 1 P1 START and COIN 2 P2 START. I Like the streetfighter 6 button setup but also love the game mortalkombat this is my cross between the two. P1 start is also select in gameex and coin is back.
  12. I wanted the joysticks that have the LED ball tops those are sweet. but $$$ runs out. I have the HDD mounted using L brackets. It worked out great. MB is attached to the backplate of what you have in your regular case which is screwed into wood. I still need to get some vinal contact paper or something to make it look good. Maybe Ill just stain it.. Not sure I liked the ARCADE IN A BOX desing and got my ideas from that. I have RCA on the outside and just plug into TV. Im using GAMEEX + Instant Sheller. no kb no mouse. Everytihng is controlled by joysticks. Works great!
  13. I found this. http://wiki.arcadecontrols.com/wiki/Daphne
  14. I use FCE ULTRA.. no issues and works great. Does rumble pad 2 mean 2nd player? If so then does 1st player still work? are you using XPADDER or joytokey? or does emu accept joypad? You can also try redefining your keyin emu to keystrokes then use xpadder? This maybe more reliable. So many options so little time
  15. I use MAME plus. upon hiting ESC or button combo it prompts you to exit.. (are you sure) then you press select. also with this version it allows for the command.dat wich is awesome cause it tells you all the moves for the game like all MK fatalitys and moves etc... I recommend you give it a try.
  16. Yes it will allow 4. That is what I use
  17. Crap I posted in wrong section... Sorry Tom.
  18. Is is my 2nd cab and is portable! Still not done.
  19. Bkenobi this is what you need to do for MAME my friend. run mame hit TAB or whatever button you assigned to bring up options. In conrols setup look for UI CANCEL and press enter. This will let you reassing the key. Use whatever button combo you want. Now with is enabled you can use this button combo to escape mame. Gameex will regain focus.
  20. Thanks stu I figured this would be the case. I'll take your advise and reconfigure the IPAC. Brian Hoffman
  21. Whats up guys, Heres the thing. I use Nulldc to emulate dreamcast...Works great. I am using an IPAC and the default MAME configuration for keys. When setting up the emu controls buttons like SHIFT,CTRL,ALT all show up in the configuration for the right keys Y,B,X,A. But do not work in game. START does and 2nd player controls work. I believe its because they are regular keystrokes. GAMEEX does have an advance configuration which I normally use to emulate joystick to keystrokes. Simiar to XPADDER I guess what I need is a KEY to KEY this way I can have CTRL mapped to "g" or somthing. I know the root of the issue is with the emu itself. (waiting for next version) but does any one here run this emu with a CPANEL? Thanks in advance. I know someone will have an idea. BTW I know IPAC is reconfigurable but I really dont want to do that. Thanks again Brian Hoffman
  22. Ha haha haha. I just love this forum.
  23. There is no knowledge that is not power (mk quote) well I have not had any problems using these methods. But I see your point tweak UI is easyer. I was merley providing the requested method. Headkaze you are an awesome contributor. Brian Hoffman
  24. Use norton ghost and make a back up of your working config... This helps but is no way an awenser to your question. I like instant sheller. This is the awenser. HideOs just makes your desktop black hides the taskbar and all Icons. This usually runs when gameex runs. you launch a game the screen goes dark and loads the emu. with this disabled or with the show desktop option when you launch the game instead of the screen going black you see your desktop for a split second. Some emus require this as they do not run on top of HIDEOS so it appears that the emu doesnt work. It just make things look cleaner.
  25. Here you go. 1. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK. 2. Locate the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon 3. Using your account name and password, double-click the DefaultUserName entry, type your user name, and then click OK. 4. Double-click the DefaultPassword entry, type your password under the value data box, and then click OK. If there is no DefaultPassword value, create the value. To do this, follow these steps: a. In Registry Editor, click Edit, click New, and then click String Value. b. Type DefaultPassword as the value name, and then press ENTER. c. Double-click the newly created key, and then type your password in the Value Data box. If no DefaultPassword string is specified, Windows XP automatically changes the value of the AutoAdminLogon registry key from 1 (true) to 0 (false) to turn off the AutoAdminLogon feature. 5. Double-click the AutoAdminLogon entry, type 1 in the Value Data box, and then click OK. If there is no AutoAdminLogon entry, create the entry. To do this, follow these steps: a. In Registry Editor, click Edit, click New, and then click String Value. b. Type AutoAdminLogon as the value name, and then press ENTER. c. Double-click the newly created key, and then type 1 in the Value Data box. 6. Quit Registry Editor. 7. Click Start, click Restart, and then click OK. After your computer restarts and Windows XP starts, you can log on automatically. If you want to bypass the automatic logon to log on as a different user, hold down the SHIFT key after you log off or after Windows XP restarts. Note that this procedure applies only to the first logon. To enforce this setting for future logoffs, the administrator must set the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon Value:ForceAutoLogon Type: REG_SZ Data: 1 You can also use turn on automatic logon without editing the registry in Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition and in Microsoft Windows XP Professional on a computer that is not joined to a domain. To do this, follow these steps: 1. Click Start, and then click Run. 2. In the Open box, type control userpasswords2, and then click OK. Note When users try to display help information in the User Accounts window in Windows XP Home Edition, the help information is not displayed. Additionally, users receive the following error message: Cannot find the Drive:\Windows\System32\users.hlp Help file. Check to see that the file exists on your hard disk drive. If it does not exist, you must reinstall it. 3. Clear the "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" check box, and then click Apply. 4. In the Automatically Log On window, type the password in the Password box, and then retype the password in the Confirm Password box. 5. Click OK to close the Automatically Log On window, and then click OK to close the User Accounts window. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
