make sure b2s File is named EXACTLY the same as table name, once in a while it may pick up a b2s thats similar which is Why it may show now and again

if your building a pincab you really need real legs, DIY ones aren't an option really unless you can get some steel angle iron but you'd probably pay about the same, and 100 dollars is a good price, in the uk i paid the equivalent of 150 dollars for mine.

hi all, i got an abba wheel from the net but when i load it i has a hobble white box around the wheel although from the picture enclosed seems ok . can any body remove it?

Not sure mate, just ive been playing with pinup popper on my new cabinet and haven't needed to alter pbx and ive been tweaking GameEx that i kinda "forgot" what to do on pbx but its all coming back now.

ok sorted, goto to vp editor and change the exit key from Q to W and click override default button layout then it works :-) In PBX i have exit emulator set as Q so when you exit VPX it now goes back to the PBX Menu wheel.

EDIT : MY BAD had it set to full screen in config....god im so out of this!. hi guys, when i apply the underlay ( red arch ) to my wheel i get the following its massive and to high?, is there a way to alter this its not be scaled its a default system 1.

Thanks i'll give that a try. EDIT : i Tried using JUNCTION but it wouldnt work, so im just gonna re install pbx on the other drive and just copy the relevant folders over the base folders that pbx creates.

Hi Guys, ive been out the loop too long, i cant for the life of me answer this 1. I know MEDIA is stored in pinballx but i have all my media on a separate drive, how do i get pinballx to point to this drive for my media as i cant find an option in the settings? Many thanks. Ian

Thanks Tom, yes i suppose that would be the best idea,i can make a clone copy on a spare drive and then just like you say run side by side. Thanks. I kinda thought it would as the mechanical devices fire up before windows actually loads so it makes sense. I'm so much more at home with PBX which is why i want to change, and the support is so much better.

hI gUYS Not really sure if i should be asking this here but as i wanna switch to pBX here goes, Im currently using PinUp popper ( new cabinet from a mate ) but i wanna change to pinballx as thats what im used to and support is loads better ( ive asked questions weeks ago about pop up and no answers! ) , my question is if i change to pbx will all my force feedback stuff work? as its controlled via visual pinball. i have solenoids, a shaker, a gear motor, sound system that has the datum pucks flashing beacons but no lights, also the ball launcher and nudge is on pin scape i believe, and i have a stern DMD. Will everything work if i switch or am i gonna have a night mare trying to set it all up? Will i just to be able to point pbx to my visual set and the direct outout will work up or do i need to alter the direct output files? if i do then there is no way as im hopeless at that, unless somebody is willing to remote in and set me up. Your thought and advise welcome.

*** Can a moderator please move this to GAMEEX forum please *** im not having a good week 1st I tear a disc in my back ( ouch ouch ouch ) then my hard drive crashes and corrupts the drive. ok so hears my predicament, i have family coming over saturday and really wanted to show them the arcade running gameEX. Now i dont have time to set it all up but want to get at least mame running, ive download the latest version copied a load of roms and a copy of mame and assumed it would run but ive run into a problem where the game loads i see the initializing screen then it just return to Gameex, what have i missed or what is the quickest and easiest way to get just mame ( for now ) running ? ANY advise highly appreciated. I dont wanna use just mame as its the visualisation gameex gives that i wanna show off. I was just gonna add games to the demo directories. Thanks in advance. Hi Mike, thanks but to be honest it works it gameex as an independent emulator now ( using ZX SPIN ) , so ill leave it as it is :-) just need to find out why i see the desktop under when its running as full screen option does appear to work.
