I have kept my list to game systems I will play so my lists aren't nearly as impressive as what's out there. (Excellent setups everyone BTW!) No one else really uses the arcade anyway unless they're playing against me. That's not by design - it's just I'm the only one really interested in it. Consoles: Atari 2600 Atari 5200 Atari 7800 Intellivision ColecoVision Sega Master System Sega Genesis Nintendo NES Nintendo SNES Nintendo N64 Nintendo Game Cube Sony Playstation Handheld: Neo Geo Pocket Color Nintendo Game Boy + Color + Advance Nintendo Virtual Boy Sega Game Gear Arcade: MAME SNK Neo Geo Sega Model 3 PC Games (over 500GB): eXoDOS Action Games Pack eXoDOS Adventure Games Pack eXoDOS Role Playing Games Pack eXoDOS Simulation Games Pack eXoDOS Strategy Games Pack Everything is trimmed down to what I want to play - for example: I don't have all of the PSOne games installed. It all just fits on a 1TB HDD. Any other games I want to play or try out I have to play from an external USB.

I had this problem when I first started as well. Did you download and install the Shark007 codecs? That's what fixed it for me. Just my $0.02.

Thank you. You can see that there's a ton of work in this theme and it turned out beautifully.

As soon as I saw this deal in my email I had to grab it. Nice addition to my arcade cabinet.

What's the specs on this beauty? What's it running? Monitor size? Dish! Dish!

ClassicGMR replied to engg100's topic in Social Club
I checked this out and thought the same thing - where's the "Full Controller Build" donation level? Bah! I can't build my way out of a wet paper bag in the rain...- 8 replies

Cowboy Bebop is probably the best action Anime I have seen to date. Good continuity, great developing back-story. If you like romantic ones Ah! My Goddess set the standard for me - though I just started watching Maison Ikkoku which I've been told blows AMG away. (We'll see. ) I've always been a fan of the Force Five cartoons and the remake of Gaiking: Legend of Daikuu-Maryuu had a great story. Speaking of mecha anime I also enjoyed The Big O - but it has a WEIRD ending - and New Getter Robo.

Man... I REALLY want this theme. If I hit the Powerball I'm tipping you heavily!

Wow... I didn't even see that! Nice cabinet allsyop!

I updated to iOS 7 on my iPad 2 and my iPhone 5. There are quite a few things I like about it. * I love the control center (swipe from the bottom) and now I don't have to have a jailbreak to access Bluetooth, WiFi, Airplane Mode, Brightness at one touch. Apple certainly learns from the jailbreak community on what to improve upon. * I like the new passcode screen. I have a 7 in my passcode and would constantly hit the Emergency call button. Now it is nowhere near the 7(and cancel is nowhere near the 9) and it saves me a ton of aggravation. * All my apps still work flawlessly. I haven't hit one yet that glitches out on iOS 7. * I like the Safari redesign and having the search function integrated with the address bar. This now more closely emulates a PC browser. * Closing background apps is easier now. Just flick them away. They also update in the background if compatible. I HATE HATE HATE one major change and they need to bring it back. Swipe to delete on email. Why would you get rid of that? I have to open each email now before I can delete it rather than swipe from preview mode. This is annoying. EDIT: I just found out email deletion is still there you just have to swipe to the left. Ooh... my biggest gripe just got decimated!

I threw Shockwave at it and never got to the game. It went from 60FPS to literally 0 FPS and never got past the intro screens. EDIT: I downloaded 4DO last night. It's been a long time since I tried it. What an improvement! I've still got my 3DO hooked up because it used to be so bad but I can see myself using this emulator and installing it in the arcade cabinet now.

It's already one of my Starred projects. Love RCR.

26,675 I always liked this game I just can't get past the first stage where the top two bars and bottom two bars are on opposite sides.
-
I just tried this game for the first time... wow that is one WEIRD game! This one might take me some time to get a decent score.

35,400 Took me an hour of trying to finally beat my high score... I even got to see the a level I never saw before! The conveyor belts move back and forth. Very cool.

Wish I lived nearby. I'd come by and help you out. Having one of these units has become extremely helpful in recovering customer data on bad/corrupted hard drives I'm working on. Can usually find them for $5-$8 on eBay. Might be worth a shot or, if your father will allow you to install your drive into his tower, you can try and recover some data that way. EDIT: Never mind. you posted just as I did. I see your files are locked and cannot be copied straight across.

I have a Crucial M4 256GB SSD as my primary HDD in my laptop. With fastboot enabled in the BIOS I go from power on to login screen in 7 seconds. Everything is installed on the SSD except for the games and AVI snaps(the biggest files). There is a major difference in load times on most applications. GameEx loads the databases faster but still has to deal with a 7200 RPM SATA drive for loading and ROM lists. Overall it is a DEFINITE improvement! With 256GB SSD drives selling as low as $140 in the U.S. I couldn't pass up buying a few.

I think I asked that same thing either here or on Atari Age but the thing to look for in the BIOS is a TURBO setting - mine says Intel Turbo Boost Technology. My BIOS doesn't allow for any other settings except ENABLED or DISABLED. On my end I have everything working for PS2 emulation. Thanks for putting this on my mind again. Good luck.

Just an update - Tekken 4 is running full speed all the way through but I can't get the controller to function right. I have a SmartJoy Playstation adapter hooked up to a PSOne(Analog) controller. I've configured it but the controller is only like 1/2 functional though Windows sees everything working. Time to jump forums and see who's had luck with this.

Well I got everything up and running and loaded up Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec. Through all the menus it runs at 60 FPS. In game I was getting 33 FPS. Need to try more games.

I had to check this out. You got me curious as well and since I did a helluva upgrade recently I think I can run PCSX2 extremely well. I'll be setting this up in the morning and see how it runs. I'm VERY excited about this emulator. I may have to retry N64 emulation also... Yeah I know I'm showing off(SORRY!) but I scored this machine from eBay on a cheap Buy It Now because the guy said it needed a new HDD. That's cake for a computer tech so I snag stuff like this all the time. This time instead of flipping it I kept it... and of course I absolutely had to go SSD! Keep in mind I upgraded from a Pentium4 3.06GHz system with XP and 1GB RAM.

Well I went on vacation last week and since I had no internet beyond my iPhone I spent a few hours on my laptop. Can't seem to hit the 100,000 mark...

Oooh... I love this idea. How much usable space is in the tankstick? This would be a great mod!
