I would strongly recommend updating your set to match your mame version,if you are unable to update your set then compile a older version of MAME.You can get the older MAME sources from MAMEdev

Ive never seen that error message before.are you using 1.0.4 optimized? I just updated mine to the optimized build and it runs just fine

there is a setting in the MAME.ini that you can turn on to skip gameinfo,not sure how well it works ive never had to use it

Just manually change the name.setup those other games the same way as the first 5.this was supposed to be fixed by now... and yes.you can set the games up in any order you wish.let me know if you need any help with DAPHNE.it is one of those "harder to setup,quickly gets annoying emulators"

Ive been playing with XBMC these past few days (which is why I have been absent on the forum) and after trying out a few other related programs I must say XBMC kicks all types of ass.

ok so I have come to the conclusion there are no more video game emulators out there that I havent tried,so I figure its time I get into pinball but there are so many Im not sure where to start.there is pinmame,visual pinball,future pinball,visual pinmame I mean where to start?

What version of mess are you using? asking because as of 0143u4,messui is no longer included or supported. Try this CL,its is the one i use mess64.exe a7800 -cart "[Rompath]\[Romfile]" Also if you need a FE for setting up systems in mess,QMC2 is great -
