ok im not getting this one 3. Run "vmame -cc" to create mame.ini and set your correct ROM paths in mame.ini i double click on "vmame"and it creates a cfg folder with "default"and "empty" files in it.....I dont see it creating a mame.ini file........

actually you dont.as long as you have all the overlays unzipped,with vectrex.lay and vectrex.zip in the same folder,whichever game i load comes up with the correct overlay,one after another

ok so in the readme that comes with the mame client server,and it says that port 5805 must be open which will require some port fowarding but the thing is I already have a port fowarded for another program,can you have more then one port fowarded at a time?

just thought i would bring this up,its not really that big of a deal,but its a issue nontheless.at first i thought it was just limited to game logo's i added myself but it seems to be happening with all logo's.sometimes the logo's on the emulator page dont show and sometimes they do

you know I had thought about this a week ago,but I ended up just putting the still images in the same folder as the video snaps,and it seems that videos take precedence over the still images,because whatever games I dont have video for,the still image shows in its place

While I have never had gameex issues with spybot but I did have issues with spybot and pc games as in when I had spybot installed pc games would crash,freeze,and sometimes shut off the monitor.I think it had something to do with its real time protection,lucky for me I hadnt installed any other new software around that time so i was able to pinpoint SB as the culprit early. on a side not,about 6 months ago I switched to windows defender and I have to say it is doing a fine job,that with avast free antivirus,(I switched from a paid version of mcafee after it flagged SVCHOST.exe and quarentined it) and comodo firewall and I have been virus/malware free

well after watching it a few times I started to notice that it was always the same games,super mario world,star fox 64,goldeneye......so I went to the screensaver option and saw that it was set to"just play video's"so all I had to do was set that to "no" and now it plays mame games

ok so I have reality boy set up And it launches fine in gameex,problem is before each game the frame rate must be set to 5,is there any way to have gameex do this?also I have to use joy2key when using this emulator,I have it set in "also launch"but I would like have it set in "launch before"and "launch after",I just dont know what commands to enter in those 2 paths,any help would be great!

Ive been trying that,funny thing is that command opens up the emulator,then it locks the pc,and I have to use process explorer to kill the process,I think im going to switch to red dragon or reality boy THIS TOPIC IS CLOSED AS I HAVE SWITCHED TO ANOTHER EMULATOR

I would like to use vbjin for virtual boy,but its not in the list of emulators.I have most of it set up,but where do I get the command line from?

ok this one really baffles me,when i start the screensaver it only plays games from consoles,even though i clearly have "show in screensaver" set to "no" in each.......strange

anyone know where i can get atari 2600 TITLE screens shots?i just started using the horizon theme(awesome work BTW)and instead of using title shots for the 2600 it uses screenshots,which upsets me since all the others use title screens

did you unzip the vectrex artwork file into the M.E.S.S. artwork directory?also there is a file named"vectrex.lay" which also must be in the artwork directory.then you need to run mess,and after the game loads you press"tab"on your keyboard and go to "video options"and there will be a option to enable\disable the overlays.let us know how you did and if you need anymore help Command=mess.exe vectrex -cart "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" -view "[ROM]" -joy -now -nonewui
