Booyah! It's been too long since i posted in the comp, so i'll start off with this one: 2,229,080 It'll be a while (if ever) that i catch up with KRC, but i'll settle for 2nd. For now *Updated OP, DB, RSS.
Awesome! With some of the original cast as the parents it could lead to some interesting scenarios. After all they will encourage their kids to risk their lives in search of treasure! Won't they?! "Go children! Oh, and try not to die!" I know people get funny when it comes sequels of classic movies, but it's been 30 years and The Goonies always begged for a sequel. I wait eagerly in anticipation. I do agree with the 1st commenter though that i hope they use real locations and props. I don't wanna see CGI anywhere! I happened to watch the original a few weeks back and i still think it's the best family film ever made! You just know it's all going to be too PC though. You'll see no fat kid called "Chunk" for example, or a Japanese kid who just happens to be good with gadgets
Same here - at the time you had limited coins, so you put them in the ones you know you like! But you are still aware, of pang, sitting there, waiting Now of course i wish i had fed teh machine! Again, great firstie! 5th *Updated OP, DB, RSS.
It's a great game and one of the best shoot'em ups from the time And that's a great 1st entry @ no.5! Imma have to start defending my scores *Updated OP, DB, RSS.
Thanks But it is just average for me I hadn't played it for a long time and couldn't remember quite a chunk of it - the bits when i get all twitchy! I'm like "what the what the what the... oh yeah it's this bit" heheheh Truth is though i can 1cc this on Original np Nicely done man! That's a considerable improvement! Was that from watching my replay or have you been practising? Either way i'm impressed - using Wish too "Not good at shmups"...
Definitely a novelty that probably wouldn't get used after the first week (in my house anyway) but it no doubt is awesome! I can't stop thinking of what it would be like to borrow the Tardis and plonk that cab back in 1980 Sit back and chuckle as the local kids start praying to it while their parents call the Priests
Mornin. *tips hat* I'm assuming setting the Controls Path in Advanced Emulator Settings is not desirable as it will only show when launching and you explicitly want it to be viewable while browsing correct? You could use the Custom Art Path and it will be shown on the game info page. You can specify the Name of it too like "View Controls" for example. If you wanted it to show while you're browsing the game list, you could always incorporate the "Image2" box somewhere in your theme, and in the Title Snap Path put the location of your control pics instead. It's a cheap trick but it works PS i'm sure there is a way to get it to display on your second monitor too, but i only have one monitor myself so no experience in that field. Hopefully some helpfull chap with multi-monitor exp will chime in on that front.
Okies This is nowhere near my best, it's just the first run i did when creating the competition. My alltime is much higher Points: 15,879,150 (stage 5) initials: DAZ mode / difficulty: original ship: Wish Here is my Replay if you're interested (remove .txt) - just drop in the \Replay folder then you can watch it ingame through the Replay Theatre. If you already have replays saved you can just rename it so you don't overwrite your own. It can be anything from replay1.dat to replay99.dat i believe I made loads of silly mistakes as you'll see! Got a bit twitchy on a few occasions heheh replay1.dat.txt *Updated OP, DB.
The Next Generation is my all time fave! Patrick Stewart no doubt best captain ever. Back when i worked nights i would get home at 9am and there would be 3 episodes back to back everyday from 10am to 1pm, so while everyone else was working hard i'd be kicking back with a beer and chilling to Star Trek. Good times!
Did you see my edit above? If still no go i would use Tempest's advice I intended to make things easy for you but might have inadvertently done the opposite
Oh maybe i got the syntax wrong, like i said i'm rusty Try the same with a capital: Taskkill /IM emulator.exe If not try: Taskkill /IM emulator.exe /F The /F is a force switch. EDIT - i just had a thought, it might depend on OS which command will work Try also tskill in replacement of taskkill
AFAIK no, the command will instruct Windows whatever process you name to die, regardless of path or origin - it just kills whatever matches your command I will put this lil disclaimer though - it's been a while so i'm a lil rusty it should work though. EDIT - also what Tempest said, there are a few ways
Mostly i would encourage veggin out and getting some scores in, but godammit man you is spittin flames right now so i say geez what you doing looking at mortal score boards?! As the great Vinnie Jones once said: Chop Chop! :P
Oh my word! That is pretty frikkin epic Really? We can auto-generate this now?! With the bold in the top 3?! whaaaaaa when did you cook this up??? I wanna swear so badly to emphasise my astonishment/gratitude! But a smiley will do it
Oh! Not since i compiled it a few weeks back. That's what i find strange - it worked for that one session and it hasn't since. I keep changing settings combinations and it just refuses to work again (apart from in ddraw mode) I've always been okay with ddraw right from the start but i'm willing to help you do some bug squishing. It might have to be tomorrow though coz we got a party starting in an hour and everyone gets wasted in our family I might be back later though if i can see straight
