I don't think it's the nag screen in general that makes others want to purchase a license. I can't tell you how many times I've played a console game and had to sit through screen after screen of who developed the game when first starting.

You need to set the keys in Chankast first. The Faq should help you with this.

Can't you change the names in the Advanced Config? I know it's a pain. But it should be a work around.

Which Dreamcast emu are you using?

I've tried that. I assume it's not working because I'm launching the game via. a .lnk file. It works for other emu's that I launch via. an .exe file

I'm having a few issues with Steam and GE. I'm trying to launch Flipside. My first issue is after launching flipside from GE it returns back to GE and then back to Flipside. No matter if I launch Steam with or without starting Windows. Another issue is changing my key config with an I-Pac. I assume since I'm launching the game via. a lnk file. No batch files will work to change my keys.

Thats the one bad part about using GE's built in karoake. You can't use it in a cab without going into windows first then activating the mic.

Please confirm if your controller works outside of any emu. Windows has a utility to check your controller status. Look in the control panel. As far as the dreamcast emu. You need to read the faq associted with that emu for help. Sounds to me like you're jumping way ahead of the game.

I think of GE as more then just a mame frontend. It does so much out the box, that many other emus require plugins and such to do the same thing.

It would be nice to have GE start this FE when selecting Mame games.

For whatever reason my volume is always at 100% when I try and adjust the volume inside GE. I can set the volume in windows and boot GE fine. It keeps that level untill I try and adjust it from within GE. For example. I set my volume to level 2 outside of GE. GE boot's and the volume is played at level 2. If I hold button 2 and press down. The volume jumps to 24 and maxes out very loud.

Did you enable the create snaps option in advanced config or the wizard?

Did you set a path for the snaps? I don't believe that option is available unless a path is set.

Well I use an i-pac so any key. This was just the first game where I needed the right click.

Does GE emulate the right mouse button? I'm trying to setup Crime Patrol for PC. It seems as though only the left click is available.

Maybe I should switch. I'm still having issues. Games do not want to boot. I get maybe one out of every 10 I try.

Thanks for the reply. I just finished updating to 1.7.3. That seems to fix my issue. However my current rom set didn't seem to work very well. Very few games would actually boot. I'm going to give the no intro set a go.
