when you changed ntoskrnl.exe did you replace it in safemode also puting a copy of it in dllcache folder in the system32 as i would think windows file protection changes it back or you could disable boot screen in "msconfig" boot.ini set it to noguiboot this will not show a boot screen on booting up

gameex has a built in dvd player for both dvd disc and hard drive (think you have to have registered gameex) as for editing the menu structure i dont think this is possible at the moment as for adding external application this is possible under "External Applications" in the gameex Advanced configuration Application these will be shown in gameex under more programs.

probly the best was is use boot skin this will replace the boot screen boot skin download skins there is a standard xp boot screen built in

does the emulator start. i noticed you have emulator.exe on the command line

try going to config application. under display settings set use flat menu to "NO"

when i use gameex Auto update, i load gameex up and it automaticly gets any updates when it closes gameex down and the update finishes downloading i get an error screen the type that says theres something wrong with gameex, i close this by pressing close. and the install runs as it should and gameex starts up with the latest version. it only does this on one of my pc's the other works fine. just seems werid that i get a error. i have noticed it do it for the last few gameex updates not sure exactly how long next time theres an update, i will copy the log and post unless anyone else has the same problem.

ok i have had a try and basicly what i get is nebula loading up as it would normaly, when i check the cd image mounted in deamon tools but i have to pick the neocd from the list in nebula then it will work only problem is on my media centre i dont have a mouse and from what i can see you cant use arrow keys to scroll the list in nebula my setup is the nebula one from your post am i missing a command line i just have nebula.exe for that at the moment also in nebula in Other settings i have set Auto load to "yes"

Nice work Nologic. il give it a try when i get chance. I have converted all the mp3 files i have to wav format. is this setup for files from pleasuredome? if so TOSEC SNK NEO-GEO CD (2007-08-26) is that the set you have?

isnt Sega 32x the english(europe) mega cd or an i confused? i was a nintendo kid:rolleyes: NDS, game cube, PS2 do these emulate well enough to play games? and thanks for the others

i give up.... I dont see a way of geting it working in gameex whats needed is for nebula to run the neocd bios then the the cd image to run i cant even find a way of getin nebula to run the neocd bios without manualy selecting it from the list in nebula the only think i can think of is the roms i have are in the wrong format i have *.cue *.iso *.mp3 any ideas welcome or if anyone has a working setup please let me know thanks

i have come across a set of neo geo Cd's about 8gb im jsut wondering if its worth the couple of hours downloading? also do the games work ok? thanks Michael

i have noticed in "C:\Program Files\GameEx\MEDIA\VIDEOS" there are some boxart files BOXART_filename that dont seem to do anything, is there an option i havnt set to display box art? thanks Michael
