  1. Thanks !
  2. Strange, i thought - if they worked in WMP they would work in GameEX.
  3. I've tried compiling again (using HK's instructions on the first page) with the same resulting error as before.
  4. I've already tried deleting the source and repatching/recompiling - the result is the same. I do have a few queries though. 1) There's a batch file called make_mame64 located in c:\MinGW\source\Mame0128\ - am i suppose to move this file into my Mame0129 source folder before compiling ? 2) There are a couple of diff files called snd_0111u3 and snd_0121 in the patch folder - what are these for ? Thanks, ian.
  5. I'm trying to compile MAME0.129 with MKChamps diff file but i keep getting the same error. I've no doubt that i'm doing something wrong because other people have compiled MAME0.129 without a hitch. Any help would be appreciated. src/emu/sound/ay8910.c: 751: internal compiler error: in assign_386_stack_local, at config/i386/i386.c: 13482 Please submit a full bug report, with preprocessed source if appropriate. see<URL: http://www.mingw.org/bugs.shtml> for instructions mingw32-make: ***[obj/windows/mame/emu/sound/ay8910.o] error 1 Thanks, ian.

  7. I thought Circo has a good few of them (maybe on Emumovies site or ftp). Not sure what has me thinking that but it would be worth checking.
  8. Good question. I was wondering about this myself. It would make life easier for users of both frontends.

    Album art!

Hi. The name of the album artwork picture has to be either 'folder' or 'album'. You can use jpegs or pngs (i think). I use jpegs. And the artwork pictures have to reside in their respective folders. Hope this helps, ian.
  10. 'Show Desktop' option in GameEX for that emulator ?
  11. Look at the pdf docs (i'm not trying to be smart here) and you'll see how an RGB led is wired to the ledwiz device. It will also explain why different buttons light when you change the RGB port addresses. http://groovygamegear.com/webstore/index.p...d2896f1c9f63e73
  12. Whats wrong there (if i recall correctly) is that you (and i also) have mistaken the RGB labels to be values of light intensity that you can assign to your buttons to (to give the buttons a particular color), when in fact they need to be assigned to physical ports on your ledwiz device (you'll see your terminals on the ledwiz numbered from 1 to 32).
  13. Some nice work there Elfo !
  14. I just run vanilla mame 0.115. I noticed the amount of space required for roms/chds just keeps on going up. I was considering removing the chds. What games would i be missing out on if i remove the chds then ?
  15. Hi. There's an MMX version as well (ffdshow-rev2405-20081201). You could try that (remove previous ffdshow first). Or you could try the vista codec pack 5.04 mentioned elsewhere in this thread.
  16. Thanks Tom/HK ! p.s. is the latest version of ffdshow on the GX site ?
  17. Yeah, i like flashs suggestion too.
  18. What about AutoScriptor or Emulaunch ?
  19. Is your windows desktop resolution set 1440x900 ? Or have you set this resolution in GameEX Setup ? It's a funny resolution to be working with. I think the GX log is saying that some object is out of bounds. And it may (although i don't know for sure) be due to that resolution. Adjust the resolution to say 1024x768 and see what happens...
  20. Thanks Tom !
  21. I've seen it today and the user interface / menu looks really clear against the background image or avi. EDIT: Does this mean we'll be upgrading to dotnet 3.5 ?
  22. Have you checked to see if you have the screen resolution set at 16bit in GameEX Setup but have your windows desktop (set in windows) set at 32bit (or vice versa) ?
  23. I like it ! It looks like a Naomi Cab.
  24. http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=85389.0 May help, i don't know.
