Hi. I know, I Know, I was warned but i've just done the unthinkable and made a mess of installing InstantSheller - Now i can't get back into Windows XP. But i thought (from reading the version updates) that i could 'Undo'. I also figured that changing the boot logo, getting rid of the logon/logout screen would be great but i thought if you exited GameEX (not choose to boot down) that you would get back to the desktop. Obviously, i was wrong. I can see the benefits of making windows less obvious in an arcade cab but i do need it for updating & maintenance. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hi. I was just wondering if GameEX supports gapless playback of AAC/WMA files so you can listen to your favourite concerts/DJ mixes/Playlists without the gap between songs. I know the likes of Itunes (version7) supports this but i'm not sure if this is implemented during ripping or does your media player have to support it ? If GameEX doesn't maybe it should be a feature request. I can't really check this since i haven't installed GameEX yet - still trying to get emulators working outside GameEX before installing it. Hi. I was just wondering what emulator people were using for the C64. I only want to run a handful of games on it. I want an emulator that i easily remap the keys and hide the GUI for GameEx on a cab. Cheers, iano.

Hi. I'm just trying to get everything configured before i build my cab. I'm (amongst other emulators) using Gens 2.14 (Souvenir Edition), but i can't seem to see an option in the config file to disable the GUI. I've downloaded a config file from the forum but i can't see an option in that either. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, iano.

Hi Tom. I know this doesn't relate to the GameEX frontend as such. I posted the topic elsewhere but couldn't find an answer. I would like to use Instantsheller with the GameEx boot logo. To complete my GameEX Cabinet i need GameEX logo artwork to have printed professionally for my marquee. Is there any chance of you uploading one to the site sometime in the future. Hi. I'm a newbee and was thinking of using InstantSheller to shell GameEX ( also using the GameEx boot screen ). But i need a GameEx artwork for my marquee. I've never built an arcade cabinet before so i don't how the artwork will look when it's professionally printed and backlite with a stripbulb light. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. No worries. Haven't installed GameEX yet but i keep downloading with each upgrade. I'm just trying to get emulators & hardware working before i install it. GameEX Arcade Cabinet building is going very slowly ( i'm not very computer literate ). Still, i've seen what it do ( divx video ) and would gladly pay $60 if i seen it in a pc store, so i've just donated the same. Please don't stop developing this software, there's nothing i've seen to touch it. Cheers.
