Yes I was correct as I just used Catalyst Control Center to swap displays and then GameExtender displays correctly so I think if it is possible we need to be able to select which monitor/display GameExtender will show on. That way each emulator you can choose where gameextender displays your graphics on. Reason being is both my monitors are different sizes and monitor 2 is in portrait mode and I want to choose where I can display my images on.

Ok I think I found a new issue with GameExtender and have put in a feature request for Multi Monitor support. I found that if you have more than 2 monitors (I have 3) and display 2 is your main display and display 1 and 3 are extended desktop that GameExtender will not run or display anything on the secondary display. The secondary display in my case would be the main display since it's identity is 2. Now I put in a request to hopefully be able to choose which display GameExtender will display on for each emulator. So say Atari 2600 have GameExtender display on Monitor 3 and Visual Pinball to display on monitor 1 for instance. Unless this can't be done with GameExtender. I just seem to like GameExtender the best since it is just so easy to use.

Ok got my computer back today and been spending the whole day re-installing Win 7x64 and it's updates while also killing the ant invasion I had out in the living room. I also upgraded my system as well adding 2TB and 1.5TB hard drives to my internal drive bays and most importantly I also upgraded the video card as well. While at Frys this morning I got a Radeon HD7870 replacing my nVidia 560TI. So now later tonight I'll start moving files from my backup external HD's. So maybe by Tues I'll be back up and running.

Oh yes. I have everything on back external HD's So soon as I get it back I will back up and running in no time.

Sorry to hear that man. Hopefully they can catch the thieves. I'm a little late getting all my news lately since my PC has been down but that is nothing compared to what you are going thru.

Had to take my computer into Frys today as it went kaput! Still under warranty so hopefully by next week they will have it back up and running. In the mean time I got my space PC up and running.

Ok guys I have decided to continue the production of the Gameroom theme! However I am looking for a good font to use for this theme as I have lost the one that I was using when my system was re-installed. Forgot to backup my fonts folder . So if you have any good ones to choose from let me know. Thanks

Ok guys after re-installing my Win 7 on my PC and getting GameEx back up and running I am having slight issue with GameEx Extender. What is happening is when I start Extender ion my second monitor it says trying to connect to 127.0.0.1:8383 then fails then trys again like 3 times then it finally runs. Any ideas why it might be taking long? Could it be that GameEx RSS feed is down ? Just trying to get some idea what might be happening as I've never had issues before with it not working. Well it works just takes 3 attempts before connecting.

Thanks is was kinda the successor to that one. I might continue it later but right now I just want to take a break and move on to other things right now.

Yeah ...... it's been time to re-install everything, but it's very time consuming and I've been taking my time with it. I just picked up another computer also that I got for free a Velocity dual core that I'm upgrading and installing XP on last night. It had Vista on it. So I've been a little busy. Might be another week before I get to start back on the theme. I'm in no hurry with this one like I was with Retro Arcade HD. Congrats on your promotion btw my friend!! You deserve it

Thanks for the news update Tom! I figured it was down. Will be a few more days anyways til I get my computer back up and running again. Plus my brother-in-law just gave me his old dual core velocity computer that I am currently upgrading the video card and messing about with. Just one more computer around the house.

After updating tonight now when I try to fire up GameEx...GameEx Extender says cannot connect to server and I have to click on the secondary display to get GameEx to start but then the RSS feed from GameEx isn't working on my theme. Unless that had something to do with it. When I use MetroICS Theme it fires right up. UPDATE! forget it I'm going to re-install Windows tonight anyways so I will re-install tomorrow and see what happens.

What if I have win 7 on say drive C: and I want to install XP on Drive E: using EasyBCD will that work. My problem is when I insert my win xp CD it will just lock up when it loads the drivers and then goes to startup windows. So I have Win 7x64 on one HD which is Drive C: and I have a blank HD which is Drive E: where do I go from here?

Has anyone tried this or have done this at all? I been wanting to have XP installed alongside Win 7 but seems like my new computer won't even boot the WinXP Home Install CD (Legal I bought at Frys years ago) it freezes at the loading windows when you try to install. I read that you need to somehow slimstream drivers for it to work but not sure to even start with that. Thought I might put it out there if anyone has any experience doing this at all. Thanks

Alot of the ideas are coming from game box art if you couldn't tell already and also from console ads! Another place for you to find good art as well.

Thanks Tom! I think this version fixed to slow startup time since I disabled emumovies it loads up faster now.
