  1. Thanks guys never thought about that as the last time I even used to configure Daphne was way back when before the setup wizard (Advanced configuration) believe it or not.
  2. I do ... just seeing if it's just my system or if it's an issue with the latest GameEx Setup Wizard. I got Daphne running but within the setup wizard you can't make many changes to Daphne. I just never noticed before as I already had Daphne configured correctly, but now all my directories have changed and I needed to modify them so I manually did it and got it working. I have attached a screenshot of it. When I click on the green arrow it skips to the verify setup screen.
  3. After so many computer issues today I just decided to do a clean fresh GameEx install of 12.79 and when I try to config Daphne it won't let me configure all the games only the first emulator within Daphne? Anyone else having the same issue at all? I did manage to configure it manually by editing the config file by hand.
  4. Today I'm re-doing the Arcade themes. Daphne this morning and MAME to follow later tonight....
  5. Here is my current wip on the Gameroom theme. Images are of the Main Menu and the Atari 2600 theme. I am going in and re-doing all the themes that I had done previously. NOTE: The theme is 1920x1080 so these images look a bit squished as I re-sized them to save space.
  6. Thanks Tom ... I don't expect it overnight like my friend above but thanks for possibly adding it in a future release.
  7. I've heard of it but never messed about with it as it's not emulated and working.
  8. A Big Happy Birthday fReq!!! I gotta start checking over here more often as I'm always late to the party!
  9. Thanks! Well this all started when I got the new video card and found that I can add 3 displays to it and I so happen to have an extra monitor laying around that was going to be perfect for displaying my Future Pinball backglasses on. So on Friday I picked up a Mini Display Port to VGA adapter at Fry's (Love that store) and hooked up the monitor on Friday and fired up Future Pinball and it worked fine, but when I fired up GameEx is when I discovered the issue. So I thought who else to turn to than Tom and the forums. I personally have no patience when I find a problem and want to fix it right away. So I tried about everything under the sun with no success. Then I sat for a moment and thought about what might be happening and then came up with my solution after messing about with the settings a bit and rebooting many times to make sure it works everytime. At first after I posted my findings and saw Toms reply I scratched my head and thought he couldn't possibly think that isn't a valid request unless of course he doesn't have 3 monitors and finds no use for it for himself, but he has a product that many people all over the world use and everyone has many different configurations and I re-thought about what I posted and took it back as I couldn't possibly believe he meant that way as that would not serve GameEx any justice. So anyways that is the whole story behind how this all came about if you care at all. I work as a technician and deal with customers all day long some nice and some not so, but found that in the end they are always right as they are the ones paying the bills. So I hear where your coming from. For now thou as far as I'm concerned I reported it and offered everyone a fix for it in the meantime. We will see where it goes from here.
  10. I concur ...I said that in my post as well you might want to re-read it as I updated/removed my comments my friend. I wasn't trying to be mean/or angry so If I had come off that way then I appologise. All I'm trying to do is help and improve GameEx and make it even better. It's up to Tom if he wants to add it in or not ... I'm just happy I manage to find a way to get it to work on more than 2 monitors and share it with all of my fellow GameEx'ers.
  11. @Draco no prob glad to help! One can only wish, but from what I could interpret from his post he said my request was and I quote " I so no reason that outputting to a third monitor for GameExtender viewer isnt a valid feature request. " well I don't know how many of you want this feature but the more you all give Tom your feedback on this maybe he will change his mind. If it comes from the GameEx team then he just might add it. Unless of course I just misunderstood his post. Well for now the work around I found for ATI users will have to do. If any nVidia users out there have a similar work around for GameExtender on those cards then please share it. Doing it my way is not the most user friendly/novice way .. that's why I requested Tom to add it to GameExtender plus I'm sure it would work much better if Tom added it without having to screwing around with your video card settings, but needless to say it works!
  12. Nope! It runs perfect everytime I shutdown and reboot. I was thinking that myself at first but I put it to the test and it still works perfectly.
  13. No scripting .... With the help of the Catalyst Control Panel I swapped Display 1 and 3 and then disabled Display On Secondary in the setup wizard for GameExtender Settings. Since my main HDTV display was Display 2 in the Catalyst Control Panel if I left the Display On Secondary enabled it would basically be running GameExtender behind GameEx so you couldn't see it so I had to disable that then it would run GameExtender on display 1 however I wanted it to run on display 3 so I had to swap display 1 and 3 so it would show up on that monitor. If I don't swap the 1 and 3 then GameExtender runs on my smaller monitor.
  14. Since it looks like Tom isn't going to update GameExtender anytime soon to add support for more than 2 monitors I managed to fix my issue and got it to display on monitor 1 or monitor 3. Took me awhile but I was not going to throw in the towel until I found a way to do it. So now I have GameExtender displaying on more than 2 monitors YES!!!!!!!
  15. I get a error with Ben's PluginLaunch when you try to configure it. All the other plugins work ok thou. See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.IO.IOException: Cannot create a file when that file already exists. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError() at System.IO.File.Move(String sourceFileName, String destFileName) at Adulterys_Tools.PlugInLaunch_Tools.Folder_Work() at GameEx.Configuration.Configuration_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnCreateControl() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl(Boolean fIgnoreVisible) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmShowWindow(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ScrollableControl.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ContainerControl.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WmShowWindow(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) ************** Loaded Assemblies ************** mscorlib Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5456 (Win7SP1GDR.050727-5400) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/Framework/v2.0.50727/mscorlib.dll ---------------------------------------- PluginManager Assembly Version: 1.0.3266.29832 Win32 Version: 1.0.3266.29832 CodeBase: file:///C:/GameEx/PluginManager.exe ---------------------------------------- System.Windows.Forms Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5460 (Win7SP1GDR.050727-5400) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Windows.Forms/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Windows.Forms.dll ---------------------------------------- System Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5456 (Win7SP1GDR.050727-5400) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Drawing Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5462 (Win7SP1GDR.050727-5400) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Drawing/2.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Drawing.dll ---------------------------------------- CursorHider Assembly Version: 1.0.3416.17500 Win32 Version: 1.0.3416.17500 CodeBase: file:///C:/GameEx/PLUGINS/CursorHider.dll ---------------------------------------- Microsoft.VisualBasic Assembly Version: 8.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 8.0.50727.5420 (Win7SP1.050727-5400) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/Microsoft.VisualBasic/8.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/Microsoft.VisualBasic.dll ---------------------------------------- Exocortex.DSP Assembly Version: 2.0.2584.40793 Win32 Version: 2.0.2584.40793 CodeBase: file:///C:/GameEx/PLUGINS/Exocortex.DSP.dll ---------------------------------------- Game Info Plugin Assembly Version: 1.0.4611.24965 Win32 Version: 1.0.4611.24965 CodeBase: file:///C:/GameEx/PLUGINS/Game%20Info%20Plugin.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Xml Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5420 (Win7SP1.050727-5400) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Xml/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Xml.dll ---------------------------------------- Interop.SpeechLib Assembly Version: 5.0.0.0
  16. Yeah it seem'd like my thread was being taken over, but thats ok hopefully someone will come up will a solution eventually. I was gonna ask you about iMagic but I haven't seen any new info on it so I figured you stopped work on it. I have been looking at other programs for viewing images with multi-monitor support kinda like irfanview and maybe one of those might have command line options for viewing images on different monitors. Maybe that might be an alternative way unless you can do that with irfanview 'm not sure as I haven't really messed with it's command line options. I also heard of Image Magick maybe that can do it.
  17. Hmmm so Tom being that you have read the above do you have any ideas on adding a 3rd monitor support for GameExtender?
  18. Then what would be a better alternative that is out there to achieve what I'm trying to do? That is one reason why I suggested it because I'm not aware of any other frontend that can do this plus it would just be pretty damn useful and effective.
  19. Well we could truly then say GameEx has multi-monitor support!
  20. @Draco I sure hope Tom does as this would be so so nice to have.
  21. Also when I did swap monitors and I ran Future Pinball and setup my backbox display to the correct monitor it displayed on part of 2 monitors and I can't seemed to fix that, but when I reversed it back the way it was then it displays correctly. SO just for the curious my monitors that I have on my system are: Display 1: Dell E176FP 1280x1024 (Perfect for my Pinball Backglasses so here is where I want GameExtender to display Visual Pinall on.) Display 2: Vizio HDTV 1920x1080 Primary Display Display 3: Samsung SyncMaster 1050x1680 Portait Mode (This is where I want GameExtender to display most of my other emulators on for the most part)
