  1. Ok I've updated the Intellivision theme .... much much better!
  2. I'm actually changing it as I type this .... will post an updated pic soon.
  3. Yeah right .... tell me about it. Only been working on it forever it seems. Intellivision WIP not sure yet on this as I might change a few things.
  4. 5200 theme done! I also have made labels for alot of homebrew titles as well for a total of 134 carts. @KRC Hows this for consistency? More suprises to come as I'm not done yet.....
  5. I was more suprised that didn't make it on GC list.
  6. @KRC Don't worry my friend this theme has finally found it's place and now and I'm adding some of my WIP's you've seen in the past to it such as the pinball theme (perfect fit for this theme layout). Btw I updated the background for the future pinball table as it just looked to plain. @Tempest don't worry my friend. I won't forget about you as that theme will be toward the top of my list. @GC Individual game themes can be created using my framework file which will be included so you will be able to make your own game themes.
  7. With the latest pinball theme working on here is a banner that can go with your custom menu. I put all my pinball systems under a seperate menu labeled it Pinball Classics and assigned this logo to it.
  8. Here is the regular version.
  9. Worked on the NES theme today and Future Pinball!! Future Pinball can use Hyperpin's or PinballX wheel images. Also the backglasses are animated using backglass mp4 videos. This one is the Adult version!
  10. I'm only using MAME64 0.149 nogui version that I compiled using the MAME Compiler 64. Crahes as soon as I check the emulator override box in MAME Commander 2. 11. I will try Adultery's MAME Commander 2 and see if I have better luck. Maybe not crashes right away. 12. I am trying to use the following command for mame launch before: "C:\Program Files (x86)\DisplayFusion\DisplayFusionCommand.exe" -wallpaperloadprofile ""[ROM]"" Launch After: "C:\Program Files (x86)\DisplayFusion\DisplayFusionCommand.exe" -wallpaperloadprofile "Default Profile" Doesn't work however it works if I use it in my emulator configs just not if I use the PluginLaunch plugin. Any idea?
  13. Yes I have the graphics to create those themes. Here is the updated MAME theme and also the default theme for MAME games that haven't had a theme created for them. So if you scroll thru your list and the theme hasn't been created yet it will display the default MAME theme. I'm finding new tricks on how to display my themes and not screw up how GameEx will function. I wish I figured this out along time ago but I guess that would of taken all the fun out of it I suppose. Also leaned a few new things along the way with Paint.net which is making it easier to modify my graphics with minimal effort. Makes creating these themes a snap now! This theme will be ready for a release soon as I get my other systems completed. After that I will be able to concentrate on the MAME theme packs. This theme doesn't work anything like the previous so you can use your MAME settings that you setup in GameEx. Also works excellent with Game Extender as well for those that have multiple monitors!! So whatever settings you had with another theme and you switch to this one it will still work. Only a few minor tweaks to remove the menu text and your good to go.
  14. @GC You can always request a games theme and I'll see what I can do.
  15. @KRC with Tom and the guys working on updating GameEx's Graphic/Theme Engine I decided I didn't want to put a ton of work and effort into the theme and then have to switch over to the new system and start all over. So I am making this much easier to use with all of GameEx features enabled and much more user friendly to setup as well. So you won't have to modify your current setups to get it to work. @GC Well I could do individual themes for the console/handheld/computer systems but I decided against it (see my comments to KRC above why). However MAME will be the only system that will have the ability to do individual game themes at this time.
  16. Here is screenshot of the Atari 2600 theme (WIP). This theme is compatible with Hyperspin's cart wheel images. So you can use those to display your cart labels in this theme. I have also made a ton of custom labels that aren't available even on Hyperspin. The total number of cart labels I have is 637 including Homebrew.
  17. @GimmeClassics ...1 & 2 are now implemented! Each MAME game can have it's own theme (just like the original) as you can see I could even change the whole color scheme if I wanted too. Also no more screen flashing (Black) between game themes like the original Gameroom theme did. I will look into your last request about the rss feeds.
  18. Early WIP of my MAME theme featuring Pac-Man. Decided to test out what individual game themes can look like. [uPDATE] See below for updated screenshots!
  19. Ok guys here is my latest WIP! It's still in early beta stages but it's coming along nicely .... What do you think so far?
  20. I was thinking today of what might be an easier way for GameEx to implement individual game/rom backgrounds and foregrounds. Tom is it possible to have an option under each emulator config to have an option to select Custom Backgrounds = YES/NO. Then for the custom backgrounds to work you could maybe have a custom folder (Ex. Custom Background Folder = "") that we can select for each emulator and for it to display them the background images have to match the filename (ex. DIGDUG.zip would be DIGDUG.PNG/DIGDUG_FOREGROUND). This way we could easily create and display custom backgrounds for each game. If no rom/game found then it will display the default background for that emulator. This way you will not lose alot of the functionality of GameEx in our themes. My trick uses Box images stretched fullscreen to create individual game themes currently but loses some of the functions GameEx has to offer. Having this feature will allow individual game themes and still have all the functions of GameEx. It seems like it would be easy to implement as well I would think, but you would know that answer. I can only hope it is .....
  21. Ok guys I deleted all previous screenshots and the framework file as I am working on a whole new layout and let me tell you I think you will be suprised. Stay tuned as I almost got my layout files done and I am testing it out and should have an updated screenshot soon! I'm really excited about this as it is 100x better than before. You want to talk about progression KRC well I think this updated theme will deliver on that thought.
  22. Hopefully I can get the rest of the Daphne themes done today! This one noone has probally seen before in any other frontend before ... an exclusive to GameEx! All done with Paint.net my friends!
  23. Thanks Celly. More themes for Daphne .... only a few more to go to make this set complete.
  24. Here is the banner mask for those wanting to make banners. You can use this psd file to cutout your banners.
