  1. Where is the option to set it as a startup video as I don't see that in the advanced Config at all?
  2. Thanks Tom for implementing the new features, but one thing I notice is when I use my GameExisLoading.avi in place of the GameExisLoading.png when GameEx first starts up there is a long delay before it plays the video the screen is blank for almost a minute before the video plays is that suppose to be like that?
  3. How 'bout logo's for radio stations??
  4. Thanks !! Got it working that was what I was missing.

    Game Manuals

I selected the folder where my game manual pdf files are at, but when I goto the selected emulator and game how do I view the manual???
  6. Thanks Tom will give that a try Where do you disable the loading screen at. I found 'Skip Intro' but that didn't do it.
  7. Is it possible to replace GameExisLoading.png file in themes with an GameExisLoading.avi file instead? I want to play a video when the GameEx is loading screen comes up.
  8. Never mind I figured it out. Had to remove a newer version of ffdshow and install the one that is compatible with GameEx. Now I can see the video
  9. How do you play a video in avi format when GameEx boots up?
  10. Did you look in the GameEx Advanced Configuration program under the Audio Settings and make sure the option that says Play Ambience says YES and not NO.
  11. Yeah I have that same program, but haven't set it up as of yet ... an icon thou would be kewl to have for it.
  12. #Make Escape key close emulator process MapEscape=false This is the part that doesn't work as it says because DOSBox still exits back to GameEx when you press the ESC and I do have MapKeys off as well.
  13. I believe you bro ... don't know what it is. Oh well not that big of a deal since the other method you showed me work good as well. Like I said I thank you very much for trying and helping me out
  14. Didn't work did just as you said and config exactly and ESC still exits back to GameEx, sorry ! (Using latest GameEx also) Hell with it I'm sticking with D-Fend V2 since I pretty much converted most of my library over and it works fine that way. I do appreciate the time spent and help trying Brian, but I do think it's a bug with GameEx that is the problem. We just need an option in the menu that just disables ESC to GameEx feature that makes it plain and simple (And works like it says) Help Tom .... future request !!
  15. Looking forward to see what you come up with
  16. I went back to D-Fend V2 Brian and it works again so it looks like I'll have to stick with converting all my D-Fend Reloaded DOS games over to D-Fend V2 until some finds a fix to this problem.
  17. But it doesn't, Tom (Any input)!??!
  18. Doesn't matter which emulator it is and no it's not mapped to the ESC key.
  19. Hey Brian I think I found one problem thou when I press the ESC key it still exits back to GameEx and I don't want to do that???
  20. I am trying to disable the ESC key from closing the emulator and exiting back to GamEx. I have map keys off and in the advance emulator config file ... i have this set #Make MCE Back button and X-ARCADE Escape and SlikStik Escape to close emulator process MapBack=FALSE #Make Escape key close emulator process MapEscape=FALSE but when you press the ESC key it still exits the emulator/game Is this a bug in GameEx or am I missing something here??
  21. I did but that still doesn't disable it. Same thing happen in D-Fend Reloaded too ... I Think this is a bug in GameEx that needs to be checked out.
  22. I tried that advanced config you did for DOSBox and changed the names to: #Additional processes to wait to exit or close on exit. Dont include the .exe. Leave blank not to use. Process1=Steam Process2= Process3= Process4= but the problem is the ESC key still exits the game in Steam. I need to disable that as I want to exit the games via their own way from the menus.
  23. I guess the tricky part is when Steam launches it then launches the game .exe (ex.quake.exe) the when you quit the game it closes the .exe file (ex. quake.exe) but the steam.exe is still open when you return to the desktop which is where I need to close the steam.exe file (right now I have my Alt+S linked to a batch file that kills the steam.exe process) to return to GameEx. So my ? to Brian is How do I setup GameEx to run all my steam game selection via .lnk files and then return to GameEx without set GameEx map keys option as I want to close my steam games down via the games menu.
