  1. I am, Now that the mod can rotate screen at startup I am thinking of seeing if I can just run from PBX and just use the launch before/after to start and stop DMDExt. I have a feeling it might work right from PBX now with the latest update from NoEx
  2. BDuncan - yes that is right. I really only use FCM for the table launch so I don't know if the new version allows the same camera control in the Arcooda views as standard TPA. I believe it does as the HUD is displayed in Arcooda mode too (if enabled) NoEx released another version of the mod yesterday that starts PinballArcadeCabinet.exe or PinballArcade11.exe based on if you pass in the -arcooda parameter or nowt so I am back to a single copy of FCM. The new FCM works for all the tables now so I can launch all 76 Arcooda tables and then I have it launching the file TPA season and all the Stern tables.
  3. Not really clear instruction but I was able to modify my existing TPA/FreeCamMod setup in PBX and use it with Arcooda cabinet mode. To keep things clean I have two copies of FCM configured with the specific settings for both versions. One to lauch Arcooda tables and one for TPA to launch the Stern and the remaining ones. I will start a new thread with my AHK and PBX settings ASAP
  4. If you haven't heard NoEx released FreeCamMod Version 2.0. He has added Arcooda support and a few other great features. I have been playing around with it and I am able to direct launch the Arcooda tables from PBX now. Haven't tested it 100% but so far it looks like it is what we have been begging for.
  5. Made great headway. I have time machine launching so I am close. The part I was missing was passing all the extra keypresses once it started. I will now start working on the PBX database part so that it can read the XML file and then grab the tablename and then the system type and update the Settings.XML file for Zacarria to load. I was a former software developer for over 20 years so I can get this knocked out fairly easy. Lol, guess that CS degree is good for something still.. Going to be tied up for a few days on and off so probably will be the weekend when I get a chance to finish this up. Think we got it guys!
  6. Has to be something in your xml I am guessing. I have confirmed all 4 tables direct launch fine from PinballX once configured. I have attached my database file for FX3. I have all the FX3 content on steam. Pinball FX3.xml
  7. Thanks, same basic config. I am going to try and use your settings.xml file and see if maybe something in mine is jacked up.
  8. It is easy to get the names, just look in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Pinball FX3\data\steam WMS_Medieval_Madness WMS_Fish_Tales WMS_Getaway WMS_Junkyard
  9. Pindapoe - can you upload your PBX settings.ini so I can see what I'm missing. Do you have any command line parameters used to start. I will get the rest wrote to parse the PBX database to pass the table types next once I get a launch
  10. See attached, like I said it is a fairly hacked up version so it isn't getting the Table type yet. I just wanted to see if a table would launch before I went and added some routines to parse the XML file and read the pinball machine type from the PBX database. I might be missing the way to launch Zaccaria for this to work. I have tried launching it from the script or running from PBX itself so please include your PBX settings for Zaccaria if it works. Change table type to SS or EM and recompile and it will write the proper value to "menu_table_cont" table_type = EM If (table_type = "EM") { table_type_val = 1 } Else { table_type_val = 0 } start_zac.ahk
  11. I hacked together an updated compiled .AHK script that I am runnning from PBX. I have some games added to Game Manager for blackbelt (SS or EM) as well as supersonic (EM) Note: I don't have it parsing the PBX database file to determine automatically if table is a SS or EM but I am setting the XML file appropriately just to test My compiled AHK is passing in the table name as parameter, modifying the Settings.XML as described (including menu_table_cont with a value of 0 or 1 depending on the table type) and then launching Zaccaria. Zaccaria is starting but the table never launches and I am not seeing any change from how it normally starts. Unless I am missing another step or this is some different process on starting Zaccaria I don't think this is going to work going forward.
  12. That should be a fairly easy change to the scripts. Not sure if you can get the type of Pinball (SS/EM) directly as a parameter from PBX but worst case is you can look it up in the PBX database XML file so it is still very do-able. I will test in the next few days to see if adding the EM or SS flag does the trick. Thanks for the heads up, I will post my setup if I make any progress.
  13. I created compiled version of the script and confirmed the last table loaded was getting written properly to the XML. I never was able to get it to work so I am fairly confident this method won't work going forward.
  14. Table names are RedCup1, RedCup2 and RedCup3
  15. Here is my FX3 XML. I have all FX3 content so this should be a complete list including the new Solo pack. Pinball FX3.xml
  16. Definately recommend turning off B2S in PBX. Using Videos allows you to scroll through tables much faster and makes everything smoother. Even on a high-end system there is a noticable lag when B2S is turned on in PBX when you scroll through your tables.
  17. I messaged NoEx a few months back asking if adding the same hack to force a table to start can be added in a FCM for arcooda variant. Even if just to start a table. He said he would look into it but no answer yet. That is my only really high item I would have loved to have Arcooda have Farsight add. At least the Fx3 Williams tables do allow direct launch.
  18. Very nice, I used the ones off the press release page as well. These are much better.
  19. Sorry - did not see the feature request post. Please move there and delete this one if needed.
  20. I have about 450 table now split between VP, FX3, TPA, etc. Using the page buttons to cycle through tables works ok but it would be great to have some kind of feature that lets you go directly to a letter and skip mashing the prev/next page button. I was thinking like , bring up a simple window with the alphabet and use flippers to scroll through list and select a letter and then jump to that part of list? ABCDEFGHIJKLMN OPQRSTUVWXYZ Thoughts?
  21. @campusco I have the exact same cabinet. I am guessing you are talking about Visual Pinball. I had to update VPMKeys.VBS (Visual Pinball\Scripts) to get it to work right when I first setup my cab to use the button mapping I wanted. I use the button labeled "L" to use to insert coins in VPX. (Note: It really maps to the the 1 though, that picture is wrong) I set Coin3 in VP to that button and it works perfectly. I have the X button set to start the game. Just I side note. The Extensions controller is really just an I-PAC 2 controller. I downloaded https://www.ultimarc.com/download.html and changed the left flipper and right flipper from C and V to Left and Right Shift since that is the default for nearly every pinball game. I left all the other keys how they were configured. Pin 1 SW4 changed to Left Shift Pin 1 SW2 changed to Right Shift Line I changed in VPMKeys.VBS keyInsertCoin3 = 2 '(5) Insert coin in slot 3, set to button 1 on Extension's cabinet Here is my VPX key settings. Here in my PBX key settings.
  22. Yep, tables are very impressive. Even better FX3 suports cabinet mode so I already confirmed Fish Tales launches just fine from PBX!
  23. Moderators - you can delete this post or leave this response for other that may stumble into this.. After a lot of head scatching I finally located the issue. Microsoft downlaod some sort of Movies and TV app automatically on my Win 10 Pro system. It was interferring with PBX. I just happened to stumble on that VLC or FFV wasn't playing MP4 videos by default anymore. Once I found out what was going on I was able to fix things by running Powershell Get-AppxPackage *zunevideo* | Remove-AppxPackage MP4 vides are now playing fine again. Sorry for the false alarm.
  24. Strange issue that I am seeing. MP4 table videos files that I have been using for 7 months are no longer working in PinballX since I upgrade passed version 3.06. F4V video playback is fine though. I also have an issue with the default PinballX DMD video playing on my PinDMDV3 in PinballX now as well. It is also a MP4 so I am wondering if this is somehow related. I haven't updated anything else that I would think would cause this problem . The videos all play fine outside PinballX. I have the same issue on 3.07, 3.08 and 3.10. Previously everything else was working. [SETTINGS].log log.txt PinballX.ini The Pinball Arcade.xml pinDMD_log.txt
  25. Thanks for the reply Tom. I broke down and turned on Backglass in FX3 and copied the static images so I have working backglass again. Not a huge deal but the animated backglass looked a lot better.
