  1. I'm on to my next issue now. I am trying to figure out how I can call up a virtual keyboard when needed to enter names on my touchscreen. One awesome feature for TS users would be for Game Ex to have an always on top button that you could click on at anytime when you need to bring up a keyboard in a game.
  2. That works well, thank you. Still wish I could remember how to use that .csv file in ClrMamePro. I know I have done it before but either way, I got what I need. Thanks for all the suggestions and to all who replied. ps. Different PC than my Mame Cab and what is why I did not just use the setting talked about in Game Ex.
  3. Building a rom set for my touchscreen monitor. So I got RomLister and made a .csv file for the light gun game but for the life of me I can't figure out how to load that file in Clr to rebuild just that rom set. =?

    Sorting Roms

I need to rebuild my Mame collection to sort all the light guns into one dir. Never did this before but I am figuring there is some way to achieve this with Clr Mame Pro? Thanks to any that reply.
  5. Anyone write a script yet to get past the launch screen? It is the only issue I currently have with the game, otherwise runs great on my setup! I found this over on BYOAC... #NoEnv SendMode Input SetWorkingDir %A_ScriptDir% Blockinput on SetBatchLines -1 Gui +AlwaysOnTop -Caption +ToolWindow Gui Color, 0 Gui Show, x0 y0 h%A_ScreenHeight% w%A_ScreenWidth%, HSHIDE Run, SF4Launcher.exe, , Max WinWait, STREET FIGHTER IV LAUNCHER IfWinNotActive, STREET FIGHTER IV LAUNCHER WinWaitActive, STREET FIGHTER IV LAUNCHER Send, {enter} Blockinput off Process, WaitClose, StreetFighterIV.exe return ESC:: Process, Close, StreetFighterIV.exe ExitAPP return Thoughts? I have not tried it yet...
  6. I have Game Ex working just fine on my TS but I am trying to configure Megatouch games to run. I can get the games to load fine, but I can't seem to get the controls for the monitor to work with in the game. How can I configure these games to work correctly? Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
  7. Installed Game Ex on my touch screen and it works well now all I need to do is figure what games are fun to play on it. I tried install Fruit Machines but I am not too impress with them or the software used to emulate them. I need to search around to see if the Mame Megatouch games will work and what else is out there.

  9. I got a 19" TS. What games are you guys running on it? I got the Jukebox part covered.
  10. Good to know, I will give it a shot. Thanks Tom.
  11. I was thinking about loading Game Ex onto my PC that has a touchscreen monitor. Anyone here currently navigating Game Ex on a touchscreen?
  12. Anyone able to figure this out?
  13. Not sure on my cab but I get the same error on this PC as well. Safe Cracker (Bally) (1996) (Boris & Mr.Pinball & Rev063) (1.0).vpt Safe_Cracker__Bally___1996___Boris___Mr.Pinball___Rev063___1.0_.txt
  14. Well if you would, please let me know cause I can't get just that game to work and I thinking about buying the real deal so I want to test it first. =]
  15. Yes Does it play for you?
  16. When ever I try to play Safe Cracker in VP Mame I get the following error. Line:671 Variable is undefined: 'KeyStartButton' Any idea what I need to do to correct this so that I can enjoy this game? Thanks! Sub SC_KeyUp(ByVal keycode) If keycode = keyStartButton Then Plunger.Fire ' reset the plunger, the first ball must be launch by the player If vpmKeyUp(keycode) Then Exit Sub If keycode = PlungerKey Then Plunger.Fire If keycode = 16 Then Controller.Switch(56)=False End If If keycode = 17 Then Controller.Switch(57)=False End If If keycode = 18 Then Controller.Switch(58)=False End If
  17. This sorta fixed itself, some how or some way it is now working. Thank you both for all your help.
  18. Is there anyway to change the Jukebox link to launch a different external program other than the one built into Game Ex?
  19. So is there anything else I can check here? I really would like to try and correct this...
  20. When I click on a song in the jukebox it does not play. It queries it and adds it to the list which is fine, but when I try to play the list nothing happens. The background music plays fine in the Game Ex menus which are the same songs I am trying to play in the Jukebox.
  21. I don't see anything in my default config. that states anything about player 1 or 2. I understand what you are saying but the mystery continues. =/ default.rar
  22. I noned out all of p3 and p4 just now, no change.
  23. I remove all my cfg files and went back through some of the posts and the buttons seem to light correctly now but CPWiz is still not displaying the correct info for player 1. It is telling me: b1 a b2 b b3 c b6 d Just for neo geo but as I said, the buttons seems to be correctly lit now.
  24. Okâ?¦ Here is the deal the best way I can describe things. I am trying to make it so that for every Neo Geo game clone or not shows but 7, 4, 5 and 6 lit. The problems is as of right now buttons 3, 4, 5, and 6 lit with button 3 being blue. In CPWizard which if you look at post 16 you will see a picture attached of how that program is reading the buttons for neo geo games, it is the same way I see them lit. Player 2 is 100% correct but player 1 is not as you can see in that attached picture. The strange thing about all this is even though CPWizard and the LED program is seeing the buttons incorrectly, Mame is not and the games play just fine even though the buttons would seem not to be right from CPWiz and LED, but in Mame they are. I have verified the buttons are correctly sat inCPWiz in general meaning that where I set up my own CP layout, everything is labeled correctly there. I have also gone into the LED plug-in program and sat all buttons to true for Game Ex even though half of them I donâ??t have, ie no player 3 or 4. I have copied the files you posted into the correct locations and delete the ones you asked me too. I think that about covers it. I restore all my default cfg files back to before I used Tempestâ??s program, I can remove them all if you like. I think I only have about one of them custom sat anyway. I really would like to get this all strait because I see my mouse buttons are not lighting for trackball games either. Maybe it would be best if I delete all my cfg files at this point?
  25. I just put it all back in place and post 16 is how lights and looks in CPWiz, although when I play the game it control correctly using 7, 4, 5 & 6 so this is not a problem with it sat up wrong in mame since it controls right. I have no clue, I will print out and go over everything you said but I copy those files back over and deleted what you instructed me to do. I also sat my default Game Ex states all to true. It's like Mame is right but something is not telling CPWiz or the LED program the correct information to display. I tried shutting down CPWiz and the problem remains the same.
