i actually thout of that your probably right you never see infra red light im hoping i can mount them in my cab without it obstructing your view of the monitor... i.d like to no all the pro's and cons of the lcd topgun..please post your reviews

well i got n64 working great. and playstation 1 workin ok on some games.worth getting does anyone know the best emulators and if they worth getting at the moment for such consoles as.. dreamcast sega saturn gamecube .. and where can i get hold of roms for sega 2 emulator..

i found these two pics of the lcd topgun it gives you an idea of what you get when you buy it. im wondering if the bars could be mounted in the arcade cabs without looking stupid. and i think they do glow up when you are playing the game.. are there any more light guns out there. what about actual arcade light guns .i wonder if you could get them to work on a pc. and where would you bye them to??

does anyone know of a pair of light guns that run well with mame on windows xp.using a crt monitor. ive also heard of the ps2 light gun wireless. that must be usb for playstation 2 ? if so i wonder if it would work on a pc...

try adding in the send keys line %~ wich means alt enter wich most emulators take that as fullscreen oh and put the time delay to 2500

wow excellent idea i love it because i have 2 buttons on my cab for load and save and the problem is that not all the emulators have load and save as the same buttons so i have to strip the exe change it and rebuild it,and this is time consuming. but if tom could implement this feature it would be cool. a+++++++

that is very true not many poeple have keyboards on there machines all though i do and i know others do. and thats a good idea with the virtual keyboard ??? also the search function makes it easier if the file is named 64 mario or smariob see what i mean ive searched for certain games and not found them and then 1 day stumbled on it and realised it was named something stupid?? anyway keep those comments coming

hi tom how about a feature that enables you to search for games so for example you type mario in the search box and get a list like mario brothers mario kart mario kart 64 super mario brothers mario 2 mario golf mario tennis and so on: i think this would be a cool feature as my mates asked me have you any mario games ??? thanx gerble1000

one more thing this is my system p4 3ghz 512 ram nvidea gerforce 6500 256mb ddr2 pci express 200gb hard drive every now and then , when i boot my computer up with gameex in my startup folder it will come up with that page full of writing instead of going through to gameex. i have to click the cross and click gameex again and then it works... any ideas whats happening cus its happened on every release...it gets a little anoying when poeple come around to play my cabinet..i think it might be my new graphics card thanx gerble1000

hey tom ive got a small feature request...mainly for users with there own cabinets. how about a password prompt for when u exit gameex. it sounds a little trivual...but i would love it, not sure about everyone else.. chears gerble1000

hi tom i just installed the latest gameex 5.84 and it still exits attract mode when i press a gamepad button is there a setting in the config im missing or is this a bug thats been around for a while thanx gerble1000

hi tom.is there anyway you could enhance the attract mode so it could randomely boot an emulated game as well as mame games you could add an option to each of the emulators config i.e enable atract mode true/false because it wouldnt work on my pc games very well. i often walk past my arcade machine and see mame games but id love to walk past and see sonic or mario .you know real classics. by the way i love the category seperator in all the emulators now .there great and the new menu transitions look quite cool ive posted a picture of my arcade machine here take a look im quite proud of it

hey everyone ive seen some awsome cabinets on here . so i thought id post mine. it's completely made bye me , spec's 256mb nvidea 6 pci express graphics card 512 ddr ram 400mhz 200gb hard drive 21' monitor wireless router b'g p4 3.0ghz the cabinet has over 40.000 games from pacman to san andreas call of duty 2 etc. the biggest problem was rewireing the 4 gamepads to work on both the joysticks and the playstation 2 steering wheels. but they work perfectly now i have 2 built in speakers above the monitor with a wooden dial. each steering wheel has 12 working buttons of there own. i am in the middle of making a moterized sliding draw for my mini keyboard that should be cool i must say though the best thing about the machine is that it runs gameex it's a real life saver thanx tom gerble1000

hey tom thanx for doing the 10 button advanced config . it works great. one more request if i can, can you make the attract screen saver work on emulated games like project 64 and snes games ect. cus that would be cool you could even put an enable/disable feture on each emulator. thanx gerble1000

one small thing ,abouth the advanced config.ini it now allows 10 button config wich is brillient but buttons 1-6 works fine only 7-10 seems to be the same button as button 6 even though ive changed the codes. i have played around with it for a few days now and cant get it working thanx gerble1000

hi ive built an arcade machine {huge 4 player } and it has over 40.000 games and i run gameex wich i must say is brillient i tryed making my own frontend and just before finishing it i found yours wich was perfect. only 1 thing i would like to request the gamepad to keys emulation i.e project 64.ini only supports 6 buttons and each player has 10 buttons on my arcade machine wich runs off of gamepads and when playing call of duty 2, i cant throw grenades ect. is there any way u could tell me how to modify it or if you could put it on the next version thanx gerble1000
