bkenobi. Yes there was lol ... Ive Luckly not lost my full raid set so im taking this chance to move every across to 2 Gb partitions . Im using raid 5 this time just in case. Gone for 64 bit vista for now. ill see how it goes. Thks for your help guys.

Oky ive having to build a new PC due to my Kids ......... So ive got the following for it that im useing q6600 quad core 8 Gb OCZ reaper memory (it was cheap) now i can eitehr run Windows Xp Windows Vista 64 bit windows vista 32 bit Now i know if i run XP or 32Bit windows ill only end up using 3gb of ram but i know that all the emulators will work with it fine. So the question is any one running windows Vista 64 Bit and does every thing work with it .... Are there any problems i should know about before testing it and haveing a Go at 64 bit .....

I own 3 PCs with quad core's the Q6600 ( i got them when they were £99 and it was cheap). They are good for encoding and things like that. But gaming wise and emulator wise a faster duel core would be better option. There is a slight loading difference but its very minimal. When all in all is considered if running you Gaming rigs like me with sata raid and a high amount of Fast ram and running multi Processes it is worth it. But If you are not then its more of a gimmick than any thing else and not worth the money to a normal user. Most people i know who have them use them more as bragging rites and realy do not and will never be able to put the Quad CPU to the test. Best advice is Go for a duel core to keep costs down and if you can afford it and like a little extra boost and are into running evry thing at once than go quad core.

This is still Wip but its getting there ... It will be running Game EX and various other systems once complete .... Frame work .. Cp Still being worked on .. Base Frame work with TV fitted Still weeks worth of work to do but its getting there slowly.

its a money thing. Im working on my second arcade now so that will be a mirror of every thing. I did have it all on dvds at one time but just took to long to reinstall it all so ive binned the dvds. The problem you all ways have is its imposable to back up a back up a back up lol .... Best back up source in the world is called the net ..... for now every thing is sorted now and gameex is working fine. Kids had gone nuts with messing it all up so ive locked it all down so they cannot do jack.

yeh i saw that. The kids have been moving files arround and installing some crap off the net wich has infected the arcade system. Its all sorted now and ive locked it all down so they cannot do that any more. .... Ill kill them in the morning lol ...

tryed uninstalling .net 2 and its just died on me , tried repairing it and its gone ...oh bugger what have my kids done ..... pretty buggered cos its got 5 TBs on a striped raid system. ill go cry in the corner ... 5tb of roms might go down the drain Few fixed the problem. !!!!!!! Wipes brows ... Basically checked the fonts folder and 2 of the fonts are trashed (dont know why) Used Tweak UI (Microsoft version) to repair the font and restarted. Then installed dotnetfx35setup.exe Restarted and now working. I can get in the config app now but game ex not booting but ill figure out why later on. Im going to go a anti virus scan on the system as i suspect that my kids have done some thing to the arcade.

Yeh i lost the config apps as well ... lol. it normally runs fine so haven't got a clue whats caused this.

Oky cannot access any set up features of any thing with in gameex. Nothing working Logs below if any one has a clue :-

Why don't you reduce you download to a limit per day per user. All so you have FLV and AVI ? Why not just one. It only takes a couple of hours to convert AVI to FLV. You are doing to much work for very little. What happens when a new format comes out do you convert and host that as well ????? If you do your bandwidth will out grow its self expendentially and very quickly. FE should take note and stick to a standard Video format. This would help you all. if you all had standard formats for pics , video , ect ect you would make every ones life so much more easy and all so it would be less stress on people trying to get every thing working together. There is no uniformity with in this business of FE's and there needs to be. A good saying for you. You cannot please all the people all the time. But you can please most of the people most of the time. Personly i would love to have a sub to your site but atm money is pritty tight and im personly investing in my own arcade unit that is costing a small fortune to build. hopefully in the future ill get a sub. Anmy how keep up to good work and my best wishes to any future venture you and path you may take.

well i think you answered your own question mate. it doesnt support shader 2. so your stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Goto the plug in section under start menu / programs / game ex / plugins Then Tick LCD/LED Plugin and configure. thats all there is to it ...

Does gameex support the Matrix Orbital GX Typhoon USB LCD via the lcd plugin ...

You know i wold love a Small LCD version e.g a matrix display version showing the game your playing. Im still wondering waether to add a 7" LCD to my c-macc's 2 or a Matrix version ... with the program i could bet a 7" and have it display the marque instead .... hmmm you have added another + to the 7" i think

no that is not the answer. there is a black out line or box arround the wording , there is no picture there its text ... Why ? I dont what a Black box aground the wording.

Hi guys and girls. Im having a small problem when creating my own there. If you look in the pic below you'll see the wording "Favorites" has a grate big black block around it. This happens with all the words that appear there. how do i change that so that its see through instead ... Thks

To be honest each FE has it Pluses and Negatives. I personly like nearly all of them as far as im concerned each one bring some thing different to the table and ups the game with each new innovation. I love Gameex the best though must admit but HS and mala again are both quite conventional and handy for different builds or PC set ups. Popularity polls like this only prove how insecure some one is over there own proposals. Personly it should be a Question . What would you like to see incorporated in a FE !!! ect ect not which is the best as this is just fan boy trash talk ...

well Im seemingly stuck on the art work for this one. Im going to be using fablon to cover the base of the system but im in the need of some good art work. Any one got any suggestions for this ..

Lol thks for that. I think people say it looks like a lot of thing because of the way ive made it. I did it this way because it looks modern with lots of room. but over all thks for the comment its not often you get ones like that.

I relay don't know as i keep changing things as it goes along. If i did it simple i could have the whole system built with in a day or 2 but because im adding components that have to be bought in from the USA and japan its going to take longer. All so i was not happy with the wood work and ive started again on the back casing. I all so have to test things such as the load strength of the wheels and the adjustment bars ect ect due to the weight it all has to withstand.

yeh there just solid state drives in raid 0 for the os. There being used just to install gameex on and the OS and nothing more. This should help load times and speed up load times for gameex. as for cost c-macc's cost approx 4 grand plus to build once ever thing was included in the build costs. C-Macc's 2 well i haven't even thought about costs to be honest and the less i think about the the best. The frame work for C-Macc's 2 is all so some thing im going to be selling so people can build there own. We might all so consider doing the woodwork as well. C-macc's 2 is basically a proto type system. The frame that we will be selling can fully be stripped down and will come flat packed when delivered. The same goes for the wood sections as well. The frame work can hold any thing from a 32" lcd Tv up to a 60" plasma and the frame work has a load strength of 2 tones. in total i did 3 full frame's but the other 2 were trashed (as in cut up afterwards), 1 is pictured above in this thread.. There has been alot of thought into the system and basically c-macc's 2 is going to be a show peace to show off what it can do. And i am really going over broad on purpose.
