  1. Hi How do you reorder them main selection list when you 1st start Gameex? And how do you get rid of "last played" and "play random game" in the list? Also, after choosing an emulator in the main list you go to the next level of navigation which is the games list....on the left side it always has that "create snaps" option....is there a way to replace that with the associated logo from the main page list? (Example: Scroll down to Dreamcast Emulator in my list and the Dreamcast logo is there on the left side....then when i click the emulator the Dreamcast logo stays there in the gamelist view replacing that "create snaps" option that is there Thanks!
  2. hmm it wouldnt let me upload it....how can i send it to you?
  3. hi greatflash well i followed the instructions again 100% with no luck....again, i can hear the emulator in the background playing but the screen is all black. [Emulator_10] Enabled=True STARTPAGENAME=Commodore 64 TITLETEXT=Commodore 64 StartPageLogo=c64 ROMFilter=*.zip RomsInFolders=True RomPath=C:\Program Files\GameBase\games SnapPath=C:\Program Files\GameBase\videos WorkingPath=C:\Program Files\GameBase\Emulator\CCS64 3.5 MapKeys=True WaitBeforeKeys= SendKeys= ReplaceDash=False ReplaceUnder=True Capitals=True RemoveBrackets=True ShowDesktop=False Debug=False MAPFile= AlsoLaunch= Command=runzip.cmd "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]" OLDatZip= TitlePath= BoxPath= LaunchBefore= LaunchAfter= CartPath= configFile=[Mapping Off] Exit (ALT+F4) ExcludedFiles= CustomBackground= PlayMusic= PCGame= DATABASE= DumbyValue= GamesIn7Zips=False PlayInScreenSaver= ManualPath= ControlPanelPath= InstructionsPath= DontShowInfo= PlaySelectionMusic= SelectionMusicFolder= ShowMostPlayed= RandomMostPlayed= CDCheck= CDCheckFile= lastgame= if i go back and change this: ShowDesktop=False > True I can see the game in a window and and it runs like 10FPS through GameEx. ******OUTSIDE GameEX CCS64 runs full screen perfectly fine with no problems at all. It must have something to do thats unique to my PC. Like I said i have the same exact problem with Future Pinball as well.......so there's something about those 2 particular emulators that is causing this. All my other emulators are fine.
  4. hi brian....i dont see a runlastgame.bat in my FP folder? is it there?
  5. ill try all that when i get home guys....let u guys know just FYI also im not sure if u r aware but ever since the new version of future pinball came out it runs like total crap......i used to be able to run it flawlessly until i upgraded if u check their boards u can see all the posts that peeps are having with the latest build so if u havent upgraded.....dont!!
  6. hey greatflash....ill try it all again when i get home -im pretty 100% sure ive done what you've said like 2 times....but we'll see like i said i have the same exact problem with Future pinball, if i apply show desktop to "no" i can hear the emulator in the background but the screen is all black....if i go back in the advanced config and apply it to "yes" i can see it but it's in a window..... outside of gameex my Future pinabll is set to run fullscreen
  7. hi greatflash yes i already did all that....but it still launches into a window if i launch it from gameEX and it runs like 10FPS...... outside of gameex is launches totally perfect no problems at all also if i show desktop "off" my screen is completely blank when i launch it if i turn it on i can see it fine...... i think thats where my problem may lie?.....the fact maybe i have to have desktop "on" is causing my CCS64 to run in a window launched from Gamex?
  8. oh and also....it runs like 10FPS for some reason too......
  9. yeah that worked Brian...weird the config had it set to the "No' but another problem....when CCS64 launches it in a little Window....? and the sound is mega choppy.... But if i launch CCS64 outside GameEx it's fullscreen and there is no choppy sound....
  10. heya Brian....no i have it set to "No" the same goes for my futurepinball setup.....i can hear FP playing it in the background but i get a total blackscreen with the little round vista windows logo in the bottom left hand corner here 's my config [Emulator_10] Enabled=True STARTPAGENAME=Commodore 64 TITLETEXT=Commodore 64 Games StartPageLogo= ROMFilter=*.zip RomsInFolders=True RomPath=C:\Program Files\GameBase\games SnapPath=C:\Program Files\GameBase\videos WorkingPath=C:\Program Files\GameBase\Emulator\CCS64 3.5 MapKeys=False WaitBeforeKeys= SendKeys= ReplaceDash=False ReplaceUnder=True Capitals=True RemoveBrackets=True ShowDesktop=False Debug=False MAPFile= AlsoLaunch= Command=runzip.cmd "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]" OLDatZip= TitlePath= BoxPath= LaunchBefore= LaunchAfter= CartPath= configFile=[Mapping Off] Exit (ALT+F4) ExcludedFiles= CustomBackground= PlayMusic= PCGame= DATABASE= DumbyValue= GamesIn7Zips=False PlayInScreenSaver=False ManualPath= ControlPanelPath= InstructionsPath= DontShowInfo= PlaySelectionMusic= SelectionMusicFolder= ShowMostPlayed= RandomMostPlayed= CDCheck= CDCheckFile= lastgame=
  11. hi greatflash.....i got this to work kinda.... when it launches it can hear the intro to the game in the background playing.........but my screen is all black. i can see my windows start logo icon in bottom left corner of the screen though......and the rest of the screen is totally black. any ideas on this? and yes CCS works fine outside gameex.... thanks!!
  12. i have vista.....it blows its amazing to me that companies can get away with selling crap legally XP was much much better
  13. i figured it out....so all good hey i forgot how totally terrible 2D games look in NullDC........ is their a way to enhance they way 2d games look? maybe add scanlines or something?
  14. it happend again.....my nullDc config is empty again.... im pretty sure it has to do with my VMU's...... it all went wrong after i put my VMU in the folder u created for me and ran it after that it didnt work anymore
  15. Hi Brian sry i missed you Pm's.... WOW i found a pretty crazy thing.......i got it to work....BUT it erases my nullDc.cfg everytime!!!! ?? how is that possible? right now my nullDC .cfg file is completely blank after running it.....isnt that a but crazy? it also "reset" my NullDc like i never used it before.....i had to set the date gain and all that......does it have anything to do with using XPadder? its the only way to play NullDc using a gamepad....

  17. I saw the post u referred to..................... GETTING NULL DC to LAUCH VIA GAMEEX commandline Find the Nulldc.cfg in the INSTALL DIR. look for these tags [imageReader] DefaultImage= PatchRegion=0 LoadDefaultImage=1 [nullDC] Dynarec.Enabled=1 Dynarec.DoConstantPropagation=1 Dynarec.UnderclockFpu=0 Dreamcast.Cable=3 Dreamcast.RTC=1543276800 Emulator.AutoStart=1 [drkpvr] Emulation.AlphaSortMode=1 Emulation.PaletteMode=1 Emulation.ModVolMode=1 OSD.ShowFPS=0 OSD.ShowStats=0 Fullscreen.Enabled=1 Fullscreen.Res_X=640 Fullscreen.Res_Y=480 Fullscreen.Refresh_Rate=60 Enhancements.MultiSampleCount=0 Enhancements.MultiSampleQuality=0 Enhancements.AspectRatioMode=1 NOW SAVE THE NULLDC CONFIG AND GO INTO THE GAMEEX CONFIG (in gameex config)Command=nulldc_100b1_6.exe -config ImageReader:DefaultImage="[rompath]/[romfile]" -------I'm alittle confused what he wants me to do based on the way he worded it......does he want me to "change" my null DC config to make sure it matches what he has? Also what will be the workaround for quitting NullDC after you are done playing a game in via GameEx? There is no exit option in that Emulator other than Alt-F4 to quit the emulator....is that what you have to do?
  18. hmm weird....well that was easy.....all good now!!! thx man

    EPSXE Setup

Ok...ive begun the laborious task of setting up a few emulators besides MAME, VP and Daphne First one im trying is ESPSXE (other one i will be trying CCS64, NullDC, WinUAE) i used this submitted config off the site for ESPSXE................. [Emulator_2] Enabled=True STARTPAGENAME=Playstation TITLETEXT=Playstation StartPageLogo= ROMFilter=*.iso;*.bin;*.img RomsInFolders=False RomPath=C:\Playstation\Games SnapPath= WorkingPath=C:\Playstation\epsxe160 MapKeys=False WaitBeforeKeys= SendKeys= ReplaceDash=False ReplaceUnder=True Capitals=False RemoveBrackets=False ShowDesktop=False Debug=False MAPFile= AlsoLaunch= Command=ePSXe.bat "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]" OLDatZip= ## copy the following text into notepad and save as 'ePSXe.bat' in your ePSXe folder ## also change the path name to suit... start/wait C:\Playstation\epsxe160\epsxe.exe -nogui -loadbin %1 Exit ***doesnt seem to work.....my games actually show up in the list but when i click to play the screen goes black and then it just dumps me back to GameEx (there are so many user submitted configs im not sure which to use and some of them see rly old?) Anyone get this PS emulator to work? Thanks!
  25. hi yes thats exactly what i did..... daphne.exe lair2 vldp -framefile vldp_dl/lair2/dl2-framefile.txt -min_seek_delay 1000 -seek_frames_per_ms 20 -homedir . -sound_buffer 2048 -fullscreen -x 1680 -y 1050 that is the command line i got from daphne to put into gameex doesnt work...like i said it works perfectly fine outside gameex....thats whats weird. and space ace and dragons lair run fine
